part nineteen .

milani pov * 9 months later *:
i wake up with jay on my chest. yes we are back together. these past couple of months he had definitely made up for everything. some may say its dumb i took him back but idc. and we've been.. doing more you could say. not that we weren't already but the first 4 months i barley let him touch me. so yes, we've been more active. i grab my phone and jus decide to scroll on tiktok till i feel the sudden urge to throw up. i try to get jay off me of quick enough. once i finally do i rush to my bathroom and throw up. i hear jay wake up and walk into the bathroom. "you okay ma? you getting sick?" he asks while holding my hair & rubbing my back. "i feel fine, its jus-" i get out before feeling throw up come up yet again. once i finish throwing up i sit by the toilet while jay sits on the edge of the bathtub. "you think you could be..?" jay asks. "guess we gon have to find out." i say. jay helps me up and i brush my teeth then quickly throw on an outfit.

* the outfit *

i grab a waterbottle and my keys before we head out the door. "i gotta get food for the house too so, and amore needs food & treats." i say handing jay the keys. "so, you wanna go to target?" he ask me pulling out the driveway. "yes, you know me so well" i say smiling and reaching over placing a kiss on his check. he smiles and continues driving.

we got back from target and after i put everything away i went to take the test. me and jay are currently sitting in the bathroom and im scared to even take the test. "mama, just take it. you waiting wont change the result." jay says grabbing my hands. "i know but, im scared. what if its positive?" i say beginning to worry. "then we startin our family, its a bit early but who cares. just take the test." he replies. i take a deep breath. "okay, okay. get out." i say grabbing the test. "what? you acting like i haven-""get out jay!" i yell back at him. he sucks his teeth. "hurry up." he says before walking out the bathroom and closing the door. i take another deep breathe before taking the test. i take the test and face it upside down before letting justin back in. 3 minutes go by and its time to check. i begin anxiously pacing back and forth until jay stops me. "baby. calm down. no matter what it says we're gonna be good. okay?" he says looking into my eyes. "but what if it's actually positive jay. like this isnt fake this is deadass serious." i say running my hands down my face. "and its fine. weather it's positive or negative that wont change anything. we'll still be fine, the group will be fine, we'll just be adding a new member. mama it's gonna be okay. breathe." he says kissing me on my head. "okay, your right. okay, you ready?" i ask him. he hums and nods. i pick up the test and read 'POSITIVE'. tears begin to form in my eyes. "holy shit jay, holy shit its positive." i say smiling. he reads it aswell and smiles too. he picks me up over his shoulder and runs out the bathroom. "ima have a mini me!" is all he keeps repeating while running around my apartment. he finally stops and throws me onto the lovesack sitting next to me. "we're bouta be parents mama." jay says looking at me. "im happy im doing this with you. i told you we were gonna have kids one day." he finishes. i just smile and pull him in for a kiss. which of course he took way to far and stuck his tongue in my mouth. we would've continued until i heard my phone ringing. it was dd. i answer it. "hey twin, you okay?" i say. "essence is going into labor, meet us at the hospital." he says quickly. "oh shit, okay we're coming now." i reply getting up along with jay. "okay mh. safety." dd says before hanging up. we put on our shoes and grab our belongings before heading to the hospital.
