My Rose

Chapter Twenty: The Fight Part One

Skye's POV;

Hours later,

I finally kicked the back of her knee, causing her to fall to the ground. I pointed my blade to her chest. Her eyes widened in shock, but quickly turned into a look of awe. Everyone stopped what they were doing and watched us. "I win," I said, as I turned to jokingly bow to the others. Which me turning around was a stupid idea. I was pulled harshly into Rose's front, causing a slight gasp to escape my mouth. "Rule number one, never take your eyes off your enemy," she whispered in my ear.

She had one hand grabbing me by my hair, and the other holding her sword close to my throat. She never did bring the blade too close to me, as if she was afraid to leave the slightest scratch. I rolled my eyes and smiled, "Damn it, I guess you won then". She laughed and let me go. After everyone had a chuckle, they all went home for the night. I didn't even realize that we had been training all day.

Two days later,

We did nothing but train and go over the plan for the past two or three days. I swear I started doing it in my sleep. Well, when I was able to sleep. Rose's sex drive has really started to show since I've turned. I'm not complaining though. Although I will complain about the fact that she hasn't let me have my fun with her. She can't be in control forever. One day I will have my way. "What are you thinking about, princess?" Rose asked, pulling me out of my thoughts.

"Just thinking about the training, planning...and when you'll let me have my way with you in bed," I quickly said that last part. "I'm sorry, what was that last part?" she poked. "Mm?" I sat on my throne. "Tell me.." she demanded as she walked to me. She was now towering over me. She grabbed my chin and made me look up to her. As always, my face turned bright red. I thought that would have stopped because I'm a vampire now, but I guess not.

Her eyes turned dark red as she looked down at me. Then we heard everyone entering the cabin upstairs. I smiled and bit my lip. Rose took a deep, frustrated breath. "Lucky," she said as she leaned down and kissed me. She then sat down as everyone came in. Alex was the first and he came straight to my side. "Today is the day we take back what's ours," Rose started. My mind went from dirty and a little horny, to serious, ready to fight and fear.

I'm not scared that I could get hurt, I'm scared that she might get hurt. I know that she can fight, it's definitely shown in training, but still. I just don't have a good feeling about this. Maybe that's just because I've never done anything close to this. The most I've done is take on a few people with a gun. This time there aren't any guns, we have swords and armor.

"We've trained well and went over the plan thousands of times. The only thing left to do is act," she stood up. "Everybody, go get suited up. We leave now," she ordered. Everyone left including Alex. I was frozen, thinking about all the different ways this could go wrong. What if she gets really hurt? Or even worse..dies? I don't know what I would do without her, I can't live without her- "Hey," she got my attention. "It's going to be okay baby. I won't let anything happen to you,"

"It's not me that I'm worried about. What if something happens to you? And I can't help you?" I stood up and walked to her. "Nothing is going to happen to me," she held the side of my face. "And even if someone manages to leave the slightest scratch on me, I'm sure you'd tear them apart without a problem. You are a very strong fighter, stronger than most I know,"

"You're just saying that,"

"No I'm not. I've never met anyone who can knock me down in a fight, until you showed up. Everything is going to be fine. Now come, we have to suit up as well," Rose said, grabbing my hand.

At the castle,

We surrounded the castle, not leaving any opening for an escape. Looking around all you could see was the royal blue our side was wearing, besides Rose and I's armor. Speaking of Rose, the entire way here, we never let go of each other. We ran side by side holding each other's hands. I could've ran faster, but I obviously wasn't going to run off without her. Plus I didn't really know which direction to go to get here.
