it wasn't right for a princess to do this, but when I found my chance to step out of the ballroom I took it. I ran up the stairs in attempt to look around the palace, and if I got caught...? "oh I'm sorry I meant to find the bathroom but it was so hard because this palace is so huge!" that was to be my excuse.

it's only understandable.

as i walked through the halls with the tapping of my heels, I placed my hands through the walls and ran my hands through them as I walked. The energy of the this palace, it was powerful.

it was all just doors, there was nothing intriguing about the palace and I believed that until I stumbled upon the dark library that had rays of red lights. The lights were off but a torch was lit, i attempted to pull on it to get it out but it was stuck.

I reckoned the torch wasn't real because it was a passage way to a door, and it turned. The door flipped and locked me inside, i was in a dim lit tunnel.

light was ahead of me, and my stomach churned. what the reasoning for the parks having a secret passage way like this, was it incase invaders came?

it couldn't be, they'd fight for the kingdom until they're last breath. What if I'm trapped in here forever and no one ever finds me in her, and my soul lays in this tunnel for the rest of eternity.

I regret my curiosity, I wanted to turn back. I attempted to pull onto another torch but it wouldn't budge, I was trapped.

if I couldn't go behind, I would have to move forward. I was a vampire, I could defend myself. But if I were to be a human, there's no telling what could've happened to me.

the tunnel extends miles, it could take hours for me to reach the end. By the looks of it, but as I ambled my way closer to it, I notice there's more ways to go through.

i see a light shining through the right side of the pathway and I take it, a woman's intuition is never to be taken lightly. Their instincts are always correct.

and as I reach the end of the pathway, another torch. It appeared the same as the one I saw in the library, for the door that flipped me and trapped me in here.

i tugged on it, hoping that it could lead me out but it flipped me inside and a gush of wind hit my body.

I screamed as my body landed onto the floor. From my point of vision, where my head was faced to the side.

A bedroom, decorated in red sheets and furniture made of diamond. The most luminous chandeliers hung from the top, what was this place? more importantly, who's layer was this?

i still haven't stood up yet and when I rose from the floor...The room was empty, but it clearly being used. A cup of red substance only drank half way, if it wasn't fresh. It would've been brown by now.

I lingered around every inch of the spacious bedroom, this bedroom could be a way out. There's no way someone is just living in here without any resources, they need to come up to the palace to get their belongings and necessities, like food.

i turn around but then my face crashes into something and my body drops to the floor once again, I landed on my bottom.

I leisurely raised my head up.

meeting sharp, menacing, eyes.
