dahee had visited, i informed the queen that I couldn't get around easily without the help of my maiden.
"i have a plan."
Dahee simply waits for me to state the plan, "I'll agree to the marriage. Sunghoon and mine."
dahee drops her mop in shock, she incredulously stares at me. "you're agreeing?! what are you going to do after that?"
"I can't risk it Dahee, vampires hadn't had war for the throne in centuries, sunghoon and I could break it and cause war because we both want the throne. There's only one possible way I could do this, marry him, murder him, and take over his throne."
"you? you're going to murder him? as if he's human, do you know how hard it is to kill a vampire?" she shakes her head in disappointment.
"the queen is holding another dinner tonight to talk about potential brides and I'll bring the news to her that I accept, the other brides keep declining the offer because they are afraid of the prince... plus they want a romantic husband, a wish prince sunghoon will never be able to fulfill." i smirk.
"vampires have been murdered before, I just need to find out how. The library in the this place is huge."
DINNER
"we've been discussing with all of the brides but really none of the girls are interested in Sunghoon, though I have found the one for Jongseong. Finding him a bride was harder than I expected, I most fancy Seorim. The Seo family's daughter, she is talented in many ways. Are you giving up the offer Seorim?" the queen looks over at me, this was my chance.
"actually, i agree to this marriage proposal. The prince isn't as shallow as everyone makes him seem." everyone gasps, i was the only one to accept. She smiles, "really?! I'm so happy I could scream of joy, this is great news."
"our son had told us he doesn't care what bride I chose for him, and now that you've agreed it's settled, you will be the bride."
dahee looks over at me and vigorously shakes her, warning me not to do it. "I can do it trust me." I place my hands over hers.
"you don't know the position you're putting yourself in just by getting married with him, he might play it soft with you but once you're settled with each other just imagine how much worse he can be. Him being a ripper isn't the only thing, can't you feel his energy theres something sinister and evil inside him!" she breathes out restlessly.
if there really is, I'll find it out. I'll find out what he's hiding from the kingdom. I'll kill him to protect everyone from the so called "sinister" thing that's living inside him.
sunghoon enters the dinner hall, "sunghoon, seorim agreed to be your bride isn't that wonderful news?!" his mother cheerfully emits a chuckle.
sunghoon shifted his head to my side, his soulless eyes piercing into mine. "it is great, to have such a beautiful bride by my side." his eyes shimmered red for a split second before he broke off eye contact and joined them for dinner.
