me and sunghoon, a perfect match in hell. The words replayed in my brain repeatedly until my head began to spin from the annoyance of the ongoing voice in my head.
after he had said that, someone had called him and he left before he got to say anymore, but I wanted to hear the rest of it.
the crowning was today and I was placed right behind the big doors for my main entrance, the ceremony began and sunghoon had stood by my side.
I glanced at him and then back at the crowd of young looking vampires who happened to be a thousand years older than I am.
"welcome to the coronation of prince sunghoon and princess Seorim." the guard began to announce.
"please remain seated, prince Sunghoon you may step up to the throne and Princess Seorim may take the standing position next to you."
( I don't know how a proper coronation is like but I am doing it from what I remember in my head so no judgement guys. )
"we are here standing today, for the future. We have sacrificed our bloods, our loved ones, our own lives just to be here today. Today we stand by the replacement of King Park with his son Park Sunghoon with his wife by his side, Princess Seorim."
"these crowns represent the blood of this nation, this nation had been built from generation to generation, we hope that the prince will bring peace for all vampires and spread goodness to all bloods."
"you both may be seated to be crowned."
as the I took a seat, sunghoon remained standing and the crown giver stared at Sunghoon incredulously. "i am willing to give up the crown for my wife."
my eyes pop out wide, "huh?!" everyone had spoken in unison. "but this crown belongs to you, you're the heir. You're meant to rule this kingdom." the crown giver exclaims.
"that was unless I had an opponent, and the moment the princess had arrived and taken my hand in marriage she had such strong love for the throne and all of the kingdoms, she believes there is something good and that I'd bring chaos and bloodshed in the future, which could possibly be true. After all I am the descendant of the most ruthless vampire to ever set foot on earth, taking this crown could be my hugest regret. Though I may not become king, someone I know who is close to me will take my position for me." he stares at me with adoration.
the crowd gasps, not for him giving up the throne but because the "ruthless." prince of park kingdom, had a soft spot and visibly showed it for everyone to see & hear.
"sunghoon no." i shook my head vigorously but he gently places his arms on his shoulders. "this is all you've wanted, I wasn't even that eager for the throne till you showed up and challenged me. This is mere to me, but I know it means the world to you."
"Sunghoon no, it was wrong of me to attempt and take someone that had already belonged to you. I will be crowned too either way, do it Sunghoon please. Or I will be guilty for the rest of the years I will live." i plead and he sighs and gives the giver a look so he can crown him.
sunghoon takes a seat, "with this crown placed, May all the kingdoms be in peace. Long Live, King Sunghoon & Queen Seorim." both givers had placed the glittering crowns on top of our heads.
