SEPTEMBER 3D

Vance woke up and he felt like shit. He didn't want to get up or do anything.
He reached over to his bedside table, hitting empty small vodka bottles and used razorblades to reach his pack of cigs.

He got his lighter out from the drawer and lit up a cigarette. He laid back down and smoked it.
He didn't care he was ruining his lungs, he just wanted to relieve stress.

He heard knocks and walked over to his door, shirtless and with basketball ball shorts.
"What?" He asked sharply and saw Jamie flinch.
"Uh, you've got visitors." She didn't like Vance in the mornings, he's an impatient jackass, especially when he was drinking. Wich he did a lot of last night.

He took on some house shoes and burnt his cig on his hand.
As he opened the door he finished taking on his Tanktop.
"Hey." Bruce?

"What're you doing here?"  Vance smelled of cigarettes and alcohol, Bruce didn't mind.
"Uh Amy gave me your address." He avoided the question.
"Okay but why are you here?"
"Well, you haven't come by grab n go for a while and i wanted to check if you're okay." Bruce's Fingers fidgeted with a small toy.

Vance stepped outside and closed the door, Bruce thought he's get beat up for annoying Vance.

Vance hugged him. No one ever cared enough to come to his house just because he hasn't shown up for a week. He looked over Bruce's shoulder and saw his bike, he found that cute.
Bruce hugged Vance back, blushing a little.

"I uh, i got you this. It was supposed to be a get well gift but you're okay so I'll give it to you as a random gift." Bruce chuckled nervously, Vance had an effect on him.

"That's so cool!" He took the ring out of Bruce's hand and put it on, it fit surprisingly well.
"You like it? I was scared to buy it because i didn't know if you liked crystals and-" he got interrupted by a hug.

"I love it. What crystal is it?" Vance wanted to know everything about this ring. It was a sliver ring with a crystal in the middle, silver at the side so it wouldn't fall off.
"It's clear quartz, it helps with amplifying your energy." He smiled and his dimples were showing a little.
"That's awesome! Do you believe in crystals?" Vance looked at the ring and looked up at Bruce, he was smiling, a lot.

"Yeah, i guess, I'm pagan according to Amy." He laughed and Vance looked mesmerized.
"Sorry if that makes things wierd."
"No no, anything you believe in or like is wonderful. I'll start believing in it too if you want me too." Why the hell did Vance say that? Damnit Vance you're fucking everything up.
"No worry's, I'm just glad you're not wierded out by me." He laughed and Vance laughed too.

"I'm just telling you, i better not wake up with some spell thing under my pillow or we'll have a problem." Bruce laughed.
"Damnit." He jokingly cursed and picked up his bike Wich he just let fall on the ground.

"Bye Vance!" Vance waved Bruce off and he walked back inside himself.

He walked back up in his roomed and fell down onto his bed, his bed making a creeking sound.
He's really gotta stop doing that.

He let the interaction linger into his mind and he smiled. He raised his hand up into the air and looked at the clear crystal held by the silver. He knew Bruce was rich, like bowling alley in his house rich, like owning a beach house with a tennis court rich, (all of these things he has too) so he knew this wasn't some metal that'll rust just by touching a damp towel, he knew it was genuine silver.

"Vance." His step dad barged in and he sat up quickly.
"Yes?"
"What was that rich kid doing here?" His step dad crossed his arms.
"What rich kid?" He acted dumb.
"Quit the crap. He's the yamada's kid." How did he know about his family?
"Wait, how do you-"
"His dad's my boss. He's got pictures of his pretty little family all over his god damn office."
"I'm sorry dad, we're just friends and he wanted to check on me since i hadn't contacted him in a while."

"Come here." His step dad signaled him over and so he stood up and walked over there.
"Where the fuck did you get this ring? You stealin my money boy?" His step dad grabbed his wrist tightly and looked at his ring finer, where the jewelry was on.
"No sir, Bruce gave it to me, as a gift."
"So you think you're better then us for getting fancy gifts from some rice picker? Listen here sunny, don't you ever feel better then the rest of us, because compared to us, you're a stupid faggot." His father spat his venom at the boy and tightened his grip half way through the sentence.
"Steve, i can't feel my wrist." Vance tried to get out of the grip but it just got tighter.
"It's sir you queer." He squeezed tighter and then dropped his wrist.

His dad stormed out of his room and slammed his door shut, Vance just fell to the ground, he wasn't going to cry but he just stared.
He stared in shock as he saw the purple and the blue, the swelling and the throbbing, it hurt. It hurt a lot. But he wasn't going to cry because of a abusive piece of crap.

He sat down at his desk and his hand went limp, it wasn't broken but it was limp. What the fuck?

"Vance, you okay?" Sophie asked and walked in, Jamie followed with an ice pack and a first aid kit.
"I'm so sorry Vance." Jamie apologized, she didn't do anything but she felt sorry for him.
Griffin followed and sat down on his bed, looking at the posters on his wall.
"Griffin, eyes on your hands like you promised." Jamie gave him a glare and he looked down at his lap, you see the majority of Vance's posters were playboy or something similar.

"Can we help?" Sophie nodded over to his wrist, Wich he agreed to.

Jamie walked over at put the first aid kit on his desk, Sophie grabbed a wrap and wrapped it around his wrist, Vance squeezed his eyes shut.
"Well you can still feel your wrist so it's clearly not broken. That's good." Jamie looked over at Vance seeing his reaction to the bandage.

"Done, here's some ice for the swelling." Sophie spoke after ten minutes.
"Jesus, griffin!" Jamie shouted at him, seeing he's standing on the bed and looking at Pamela Anderson.
"She's pretty, i like her hair." He put his little finger on her head and Sophie made an "aww" noise as Jamie picked him up and threw him over her shoulder, walking out the room.

"Who got you the ring?" Sophie caught Vance off guard.
"I got it myself. Mom gave me money."  Vance lied.
"No way, she wouldn't give you a fancy looking ring."
"Why is everyone saying it's a fancy ring?" Sophie took the ring off Vance's hand and he tried to get it back, failing.
"It says Prada." She read the inside of the ring.
"What the fuck?" He snatched the ring back and read it. It was Prada. Why would Bruce spend so much money on him? Did he like him? No ways he was just nice.
"Prada doesn't sell these, probably custom made, that costs a lot." Sophie looked at him with a smile.

"What?" He was confused.
"Nothing." She draged out the word and walked out his room.

He took a nap as he didn't feel like doing anything with his injury.

He woke up at 2am and groaned, getting out of bed. He accidentally left his window open so it was extremely hot. He took off his shirt and walked downstairs, getting a glass of water and putting ice in it, he walked back upstairs and sat down on his bed.

He chugged the water and ate the ice, putting the glass on his desk.

He closed his window and laid back down in bed, he couldn't get Bruce and the ring he gave him off his mind. He really liked Bruce, but Bruce was straight. He hated that. He wished he were a girl. He wished he had a chance with him. He wanted to kiss him and hug him and love him. He just wants love.

He fell back asleep.
