Natalie finished typing the last words of the document and sighed in relief as lunch time arrived. It was another usual work day. Two days ago she had a weird experience but got over it thinking "Maybe.. i was hallucinating?? Maybe it was always Monday? Or did i somewhow forsee what could happen." Either way it didn't matter, two days had passed and currently it was Wednesday.
No such events had occurred.
Her workplace friend Emily comes excitedly towards her. She somehow was always cheerful. Emily said " Come on! Up! Let's go meet the guys. Im starving and..oh! I heard they finally brought some good food in the cafeteria." Natalie smiled and after gathering her stuff went with Emily.

After lunch Natalie goes to the restroom to wash her face....and something else. She passed by the restroom and ducked into another corner..
He was leaning at the door frame, the sight of him, made her heart flutter. He smirked upon seeing her. Going up to him,"Derek" she said smiling.
It was him indeed. In front of their friends, collegues or any public scrutiny they were just "friends" but they had a secret. Natalie and Derek had started this off with a hook up on one wild work party. Then it turned into a occasional fling..and now it's that irresistible magnetic pull that they both can't escape from.
They weren't dating...yet atleast. Both had decided to let it take its natural course. If they end up dating in the future, they would come out as a couple to their friends , collegues , family etc.. else it would be just that...a secret fling.
Derek held Natalie by her waist and pinned her to the pinned. Their lips met in a hot passionate kiss which left them both breathless. He slowly kissed down her neck....each kiss more hot, tantalizing than the other.

"BANG!" A loud noise suddenly interrupted them. It sounded like a gunshot. They both rushed out and into the area where everybody were crowding around something..or someone .
They pushed through the crowd edging closer ,trying to get a better look. It was..
Natalie covered her mouth, her eyes widened in horror!
