Evelyn's P.O.V

“Don’t you have a concert to attend tonight?” I ask, while walking out the Hotel Room they were staying at.

He shakes his head, “No, today we have a day off.” He replies, opening the front door for me. I smile, “Thanks,” I say and jump in. He walks around and jumps into the driver’s seat. “So, where do you live?” He asks, entering the key into the engine.

“I’ll tell you where to go.” I say, “Drive five blocks straight, and I’ll tell you where to go afterwards.” I add.

He nods and puts the seatbelt over him, and I do so too. The radio turns on to some rock song playing. And so we drive off.

After we left from IHOP, we went over to the hotel. He had given me a much more decent shirt, and pants. Which looked a bit big on me, but he had insisted on me wearing so. Since I had no clothing anyway. Since Jake’s girlfriend stopped by, she was nice enough to hand me one of her shoes. I guess Jake had told her what happened, so she understood what kind of situation I was in.

“What are you going to do, after you head home?” He asks, keeping his eye on the road. I glance at him, and shrug a little, “I’ll see,” I reply, looking out the window.

“Alright,” He replies, sounding a bit unsure. He seemed concerned. Concerned. How can he be concerned over me? I was practically a stranger.

“What about your fiancee?” He asks.

I look at him. “What about him?” I ask, feeling a bit taken back that he had mentioned the guy who I loath the most.

“You’re not gonna go back with him, right?” He asks, almost sounded as a statement.

I shrug, “No. I’m not going to go back with him. Love is not my interest no more.” I say, leaning my head against the window.

He just nods in response, “I understand.”

In a moment, he stops at the stop light. And I look over to see him increasing the volume of the radio. I stare at him, and looked back at the radio, “Is that.. you?” I ask, almost shocked. He nods, “Yeah, song of ours.” He grins and leans back on the leather seat.

Yeah, he was in a band. I forgot. Wow.

Throughout the whole way, I told him the way home, and we were also  conversing. He had such a humor, that it was actually amusing more than anything.

I took my seatbelt off and jumped out the car, followed by Andy. He stood by my side, almost a bit shocked. I sighed, feeling my cheeks flush. Since my parents are wealthy assholes, I’ve lived in a mansion for my entire life. The whole big space was very unesessary, being honest. But I just don’t care about that anymore. I wasn’t going to keep living there anyway.

“You.. live here?” Andy asks, almost sounding like a statement.

I nod, “Yup, but not anymore.” I say and look at him.

“Um, you’re leaving..?” He asks, but I walk away from him, only to have him walk after me.

I ring the bell, and lean against the wall, waiting. Andy puts his hands in his pockets, and glances at me.

“Maybe we should’ve gotten into the house the old fashioned way.” I mumble, regretful.

He raises an eyebrow, “Which is?”

“Through the window,” We say at the same time.

We stare, but then crack a smile and laugh.

Soon the door swings open, to reveal my mother. Well, isn’t this a surprise. I push myself off the wall and stand next to Andy, and at the corner of my eye I see him give a nervous smile.
