"Only for a while" Team said

Team and Faye are the closest of siblings, they are friends. They told each other everything in order for there to be no secrets

Faye is 14 years old and is a smart young girl

"You are leaving me" Faye asked, sounding heartbroken

"I will be back before you know" Team said

Faye ran up to her room and didn't listen to what her parents or Team said

"I think she is mad at you" Team's mother said

"I didn't think this through" Team sighed in frustration

"Just talk to her and I am sure she will understand" Team's mother said

Team walked up the stairs to his sister's room

Team knocked on the door

"Faye, open the door" Team said

"Leave me alone" Faye yelled

"I am only leaving for like a while and I will be back" Team tried to reason with her

"I have homework to do, I can't talk or hear to you right now" Faye said

"You procrastinate" Team said

Suddenly, loud music was coming from Faye's room

"Real childish" Team said

"I have my reasons, would you not hear them out first before you start freaking out" Team asked

Faye said nothing

"Please, don't do this" Team said

Team didn't like when Faye was mad at him, it was them fighting, which he doesn't like

"I will talk to her" Team's mother said

"I have to leave, she must understand that and she is not trying to hear me out" Team said

"Don't worry, I will make sure she understands, you just prepared everything that you will need" Team's mother said

"Thank you" Team said

"Faye, if you decide to stay in your room and not hear your brother out, then you are not going to get the chance to talk to him before he leave" their mother said

Faye wasn't responding back, but she knew she was listening

"I know this is hard and complicating, but trust me you are going to hate yourself for not listening to him" She said

"We just have to trust your brother to know what he's doing"

Team went back downstairs and saw his father still sitting where he was

"Team, come here" Team's father said

"Yes" Team said

"Why are you leaving, all of a sudden, I thought you liked it here" his father asked

"I do...I did, but it is all boring now and I want to go somewhere else" Team said

"What happened" his father asked

"Nothing, I am just changing and my mind is changing it decision too" Team said

"Your sister is going to miss you, so why not stay"

"I can't, my mind is made up...again"

"You know, this is a big decision" his father said

"I do, and I have had time to think it over, and no matter how much I try to find another solution, it just ends up with me leaving" Team said

"Well, it seems we can't change you mind, but that is okay, I am sure you know what you are doing" his father said

"She still not opening up the door" mother said

"I have to leave this weekend, she is going to miss me go if she doesn't open the door" Team said

"You also have to tell the school that you are leaving" his mother said

"I already did, they were concerned about why I decided to leave in the middle of the school year" Team said

"They are concerned too" his mother asked

"When" his father asked

"This morning, I figured that you guys would say 'yes'"

"You have had this planned since when" his mother asked, shocked, but not surprised since she knew her son too well

"The idea just felt good to me and my gut and heart said 'yes', just like you said 'yes'" Team said

"I should go and pack, I have a lot to take with me" Team left

"Why do you think he is leaving" his father asked

He hoped Team would stick to his words and come back when he was done with college in Finland

"Who knows" his mother said

"He is unpredictable" his mother said

"I wonder who he gets it from" his father said

"Are you trying to imply that he gets it from me" his mother said

The father simply just shrugged his shoulders

"You are right, it was unpredictable when I married you, even I am still shocked" the mother said

"I was just playing, why did you have to take it too far" the father asked

Faye decided to go to Team's room, she knocked on his door

"Who is it" Team asked, hoping it was Faye

"Why are you leaving" Faye asked behind the door

"Come in" Team said

Faye walked in and saw Team packing

"I thought this was all a prank, then I find myself not wanting to miss a chance to talk to you before you leave, just in case this is not a prank" Faye said

"It is complicated" Team said

"Then explain" Faye said

"I need to experience life" Team said

"Are you seriously going to tell me the same bullshit you told mom and dad, come on, it is me, Faye, your little sister, you can tell me what is going on" Faye was fighting the tears from falling

"I caused Win pain" Team said

Team was ashamed to mention the cheating part, he didn't want his little sister to despise him

Though Faye would never admit it, Team knows that Faye looked up to him as her big brother, and he didn't want to let her down

There was a moment of silence, Faye was wondering what life would be like without Team for a while

She would be the lonely child for a while, she would no longer have her best friend for a while

But, if this is what Team want and is happy about this, then so is she

"I thought you loved him" Faye said, looking up the ceiling, trying to hold back tears

"I did, I still do, but I have to let him go or else I will continue to hurt him and me" Team said

"Hurt how?" Faye asked

"You ask a lot of questions" Team said

"Well, I am my mother's daughter" Faye said

"I will be back in the speed of light" Team assured Faye

"And if not?" Faye asked

"If not, then I am indebted to you forever" Team pinky promised with her

"Now, can you help me pack?" Team asked
