Drunken Truth

It has already been three years since Team moved back to Finland. He had already graduated college and got a job as an intern

His family did keep asking him when he was going to come back to Thailand, he told them in a few months

But he knew he wasn't going back, so he needed a reason to tell his family for why he needed to live in Finland

"When is a few months" Fay asked, she and Team was on the phone with each other

She was now seventeen years old and was about to graduate high school. She was also growing tired of hearing the same excuse from Team

"How about a few years" Team asked, he closed his eyes in hope of not seeing Faye's disappointing eyes

"What, you said you will come back when you finish college" Faye said

"I know, but I already found a job here and I really like it" Team said

"But you were suppose to be here for me when I graduate high school" Faye sounded sad

"Faye, this is not easy for me" Team said

"It seems like it is, you have already made up your mind" Faye said

"I promise you I will come back when it is the right time" Team said

"What about mom and dad, have you told them?"

Team was yet to tell his parents and he didn't know the right timing to tell them

"I was thinking you would be the on phone with me when I tell them" Team said

"Why should I" Faye asked, clearly still mad at Team

"Because you love me and you would do anything for me" Team batted his eyes in a cute way

"Who said that" Faye asked

"Come on, help me" Team pleaded

"I have to think about it" Faye said

"Plea..." Faye hung up the call

Team was frustrated because Faye was angry with him and he didn't know what to do

"What did she say" Jazmane asked while she made her way downstairs

"She is mad at me" Team said

"I am sure she is not mad at you, she is just needs time to process the information" Jazmane said

"Well, I still have to tell mom and dad" Team could already imagine how they would react

"What are you doing tonight" Jazmane asked

"I was thinking I could look after Loyal" Team said

Loyal is now one year old, he is a quiet kid who doesn't really cry much and that made everything so much better

"Nonsense, this is the fifth time in a row, go out with the guys and have fun" Jazmane said

"Go out with them- I will come back drunk and with less brain cells" Team didn't feel like being exhausted tonight

"Exactly, go out and get drunk, and it will be with friends, so you will be okay" Jazmane said

"You can't just stay inside all day with Loyal"

"So you are looking after Loyal" Team asked

"No, I am having a girls night out" Jazmane asked Elijah to look after Loyal for the night

"Wait, did you guys already planned this" Team asked

"You will go out with the girls and I will go out with the guys" Team asked
