Never Leaving

"My prince, what are you doing" Team sat next to Loyal, who was playing on his tablet

"Mom said I can have 30 minutes tablet time"

"How about we make it an hour" Team pinched Loyal's cheeks

"You are the best father ever" Loyal yelled

Team planned on talking to Loyal about him leaving. It pains him to do this, but he just didn't want to get up and leave without talking to Loyal about it

"Are you going to miss me when I am gone" Team watched Loyal be determined to kill the green pigs in angry birds

"Where are you going" Loyal asked without lifting his head up

"This is very hard for you to comprehend since you are a little kid, but I have to go back to Thailand"

"You will be back tomorrow, right" Loyal asked

"I have to stay there for the time been" Team said

"For how long" Loyal turned his tablet off and was staring at Team

Team saw his eyes and they had the exact same emotions that Faye had when he told her he was leaving; he had already did wrong by Faye once, he doesn't plan to do the same with Loyal

"I don't know, but I promise to be back for every birthday, every christmas, for every injuries, even if it is a scratch"

"I will be back every time they release a new Spiderman movie so that we can watch it together"

"You are leaving me" Loyal was starting to cry

Team was ready for the tears, the angry, the screaming and the words that Loyal will say that will hit like a truck

"I have to go"

"But your home is here" Loyal said

"I will always have a home here, but I also have a home in Thailand"

"Can't you just burn that house down" Loyal asked

Team laughed at what Loyal said

"Even at a time like this, you always make me laugh"

"What if I come with you" Loyal asked

"You can't, you have to stay here with your mom"

"But you are my dad, so can't we all just move to Thailand"

Loyal knew Team was his father and Jazmane was his mother, but he was a little kid, so he didn't know that Team and Jazmane wasn't together

They didn't keep the secret of Team and Jazmane not being together from Loyal; Loyal just didn't care, as long as they were both there fer him

He just wanted his whole family to be in the same place as him

"If you move to Thailand, then what about me" Jazmane asked as she joined the conversation

"Mom, dad is leaving" Loyal carried into Jazmane's arms

"I know, it sucks right?"

Jazmane sat Loyal on her lap and sat next to Team. All three of them looked like a simple, ordinary family

"I don't want him to leave" Loyal said

"He will be back"

"Loyal, I will always be a phone call away"

"I will always be here"

"Just don't hate me- I don't ever want you to hate me, it will break me" Team said
