You're Mine [5SOS FanFic]

Chapter 1

A story inspired from the movie "You instead"/"Tonight, you're mine". Thank you for the amazing writers and the director of the movie who inspired us to write a story about it.

"Okay everybody ready?" My best friend Petunia shouted as we grouped in circle with our band. She holds her bass guitar like an expert and she looks absolutely stunning in her all black clothing with her dirty blonde hair. I was beside my brother Cyrus who totally rocked out his look with his guitar. He looks excited with the entire smile in his face and he was beside Nora who pretty much looks sweet to become a drummer. But of course, a total monster on her drums seems very eager to play.

"We can do this!" Cyrus shouted. As we all shouted "YEAH!!" in the background.

Today is the Sync Rock Festival here in California, where you'll find the newest and hottest rock bands in the world, as they say. We were invited in this event for the first time ever in our lives and this is very enormous because we'll be with other famous band and other more famous bands than us.

I'm in my band for almost 4 years already. My best friend Petunia Richards decided that we could like start a band after me winning the Homecoming Singing Contest back in Perth. And I was like yeah we could play with our guitars, but we weren't really serious about it. We called our band 'The Cabin' because Petunia and I met in a plane from Sydney back to Perth. So we tried playing few songs at my garage and sometimes in hers. And we sounded really great I guess, because that's what my dad told me. I was 15 back then, and we were like yeah we'll just be singing just for fun until my brother, Cyrus, decided to join to. He was pretty good at guitars and we weren't really close before forming the band we're like the mortal enemies but after the band, we sometimes bond and I realize that he wasn't that bad. Although sometimes when we have gigs, he still does some pretty annoying pranks which really and totally annoy me. We're like 3 persons already and we weren't still serious about it. We just sing for fun. Although at school we're always invited to perform especially when the school has a program and the students there really liked us. We always have a wonderful feedback. Until we realize that maybe it's the time to get serious with these stuffs because we're getting a lot of opinions that we were pretty good and we might have a long way to go. But then school just turn into some crappy shit that means we've got to focus more because we're going down. So we took a break for like 3 months and then Nora came in our school. Nora Taylor is an American transferee in our school. Her family moved in Australia for business. No one likes her during first day and my best friend Petunia thinks she's pretty kind anyways so we decided to befriend her little did we know that she knew drums. So after school, we like bond in our garage then we just sing few songs with her and she just asked if she can join our band and we're like yeah sure. Then she said that she can play drums for us. That's when our shit got pretty serious.

We started with making our own blog. We uploaded videos of us singing there. I remembered the first video we make was when we covered the song 'Faraway' by Nickelback and it was really great that few of other bands like My Chemical Romance and A rocket to the moon re-blogged the song. It got all over the web and the fans were requesting for another one. So we did. And it got famous again and we did another video until we tried YouTube where we got more 800,000 views. We were totally grateful and we thanked our fans in our blog. Until, during our video blog of 'Decode' by Paramore which got 900,000+ views on YouTube, Pink House Management in UK noticed us. We were so happy and grateful that time. But we really didn't know what to do because we're like 16 or 17 year olds which only focus their life in study and music. Plus we never intended to get discovered, we just like play songs for our fans to make them happy. I swear. The Pink House Management Australia invited us first to perform. So we told our parents about this and they were totally okay with it, although we had a little problem with Nora's dad who didn't like it at first but eventually allowed her. So we did some few cover songs on the radio until the management told us that we should make our own song before we take off to UK. Cyrus was totally hysterical about it. He was pretty excited together with Petunia. But of course we're all a bit worried we're leaving school although it was fun because we're leaving school which was a bit of a hell to us. Petunia, Cyrus, Nora and I flew to Sydney the next week after the day we were invited because we had to settle some stuffs for school. Petunia, Nora and I were in Year 11 and Cyrus was in Year 10. We had to fix some stuffs for school and then we're off. We met this guy his name is David, but we call him in his French surname Claude. Claude is the one who manages the talents in Australia in Pink House Management so in short he's our manager. Claude is pretty awesome, he makes us guest in different shows around Australia so in short we've been around touring in our country. He made us guest in New Zealand too, we had our debut tour their which was pretty great because we saw our Kiwi fans and I'm telling you they're a bunch. Then after couple of months we had to say goodbye to dear school and our dear families because we took off to UK for another big show. Pink House Management UK opened doors for us. There were a lot of opportunities that we took and that we never regret. The name 'The Cabin' has been pretty famous all over UK and Australia, we're really happy as fuck and we never regret any single thing. Imagine our lives before taking off, we weren't really that serious with this stuff, we're just kids singing in our garage in Perth, kids who sang in our school, kids who just tried v-logging, kids who just had hundreds of views in YouTube and kids who just became famous because of our fun passion in music. It was all like a snap, a quick blink of an eye and we're suddenly here.

We were on tour with the band Hedge Budge when we were invited in Sync. After receiving the news we're all like, oh my god we're going to Coachella. But eventually we realized that it was Sync. But we know it's still going to be fun because it's Sync! The rock festival will last for 3 days and 2 nights, so it's going to be like we'll build our tents in the crowd together with other famous band and other more famous band than us. It's like a get together with other rock bands and the fans. This is awesome because you'll meet your fans from the other sides of the world. And aside from that, of course it's a new experience to my band because we've waited for so long for this and besides this is the first time we've been in USA.
