Chapter 13

It was almost 7 in the evening. Calum and I are just running to the Jump and Smile ride because the lights are totally attracting us.

Okay, so yeah, I'm trying to sink everything in inside my head because he just told me that he loves me. All the questions are just churning and turning inside of my head. What if he's just bored? What if it's because we're tied up? What if it's because we can't be away? What if he just wants someone to cuddle and he found me? All of these questions are running inside my head, but everything stops when he smiles and talks and holds my hand. I hate it.

We were about to get in, but Petunia is calling me through my phone.

"Where the heck are you?" Petunia shouts. I can hear Michael and Luke's laughter at the background.

"I'm with Calum why?"

"Obviously you are with him. We have to perform have you forgotten?"

Oh crap, yeah we have to perform.

Calum nods at me agreeing that we should go.

"Okay, we're on our way now," I said as I hung up.

Calum and I ran again to the backstage, I have to prepare because tonight is the last day we'll perform and I have to seize the moment because it's the last night in Sync.

We reached the backstage and the girls are preparing already, Cyrus was strumming his guitar quietly. I can see his sweet glances over Nora.

Luke handed me my guitar and I smiled at him. I looked at Calum and he rolled his eyes.

"Don't get jealous silly," I said as I pinched his nose. Lou came in and hugged me and my brother. And he told us good luck.

Ashton just came in and hugged us all he said that we should do our best because this is the last time. Nora said we're going to sing a pretty good song so we hope that everything will turn out great.

I handed the letter to Ashton because he probably could think of something while we're on the stage. Ashton nods at me and hugged me for the second time. I whispered thank you to him and he smiled as he moved away.

My band and I formed a circle as we talked about our goals.

"This is it," I say as I hold my guitar and moved my handcuffed arm.

"Let's nail the stage!" Petunia shouted as we go yeah!

We're not as nervous as before. It's very different when you do it the second time. The anxiety is gone, just more excitement and craziness. The terrified feeling went away, but the happiness is still there. This is what we asked for, so probably we do it right this time.

Michael hugged my friends and I hugged him too. We hugged Luke too.

"You go girls!" Michael shouted. "And Cyrus too!"

We walked nearer to the stage as I dragged Calum with me. He held my hand so tight that I can feel his sweaty palms.

"Don't be nervous?" he tells me.

"You're the nervous one"

"Because I have nothing else to do,"

"You just sing with me," I told him.

We walked nearer and I can already hear the loud shouts of the crowd. My blood is rushing, I want to run and meet them already. I want to set a music bomb on the stage and enjoy the music with them right now.

"The Cabin with Calum Hood from 5 seconds of summer!" the emcee began to speak and we walked to the stage and we walked to our places. Petunia places her hands up in the air and she made the crowd go wow.
