After 15 days, Cathy was discharged and also got her stitches removed. Shaun had taken the holiday all the while and spent time with her to make her comfortable again.

Cathy and freya had gone to the club while returning, Shaun spotted her.
"What are you doing here?"
"Oh! I just came with Freya to accompany her, I didn't drink I promise."

"Fine let's go home "
"But Freya is drunk and I can't leave her alone"
"I don't care about her"
"But I'm her friend and I'll not leave her alone like this"
"Then take her but she can sit in backseat you in front"

"Actually she's drunk to an extent because she broke up with her boyfriend and can't walk she's too heavy moreover."
"Then let's go by ourselves"
"She's my friend!"
"Then what can I do" he asked irritatedly.

"Please lift her to the car." She requested with pleading eyes.

"Seriously? What kind of wife are you? others keep their husbands away from women and see yourself asking me to lift another lady in my arms." He said mockingly.

"She's my friend and I can trust her blindly. I'm with her from my childhoo-"
"I can't hear any praises about anyone, please shut up."
"She's my friend "
"Whether it's male or female!"

"Why should I listen to you?" She said angrily.
"Then get into the car, no need for your friend."
"Please, shaunny" she said pleadingly.
"Where's she?" He asked nonchalantly.

"In the club"
He got into the club and picked Freya into his arms. He kept a distance from her as if he would be infected with some disease by her. Catherine noticed this and Freya felt utterly embarrassed.
On reaching the car he opened the car door and almost threw her onto the seat.

"Be easy, she'll get hurt." Cathy exclaimed.
"Good! You can have a great distance from her then."

"I can't she's my best friend and will never leave her." She chided.

"Get into the car now and no need to come here again, I don't like this place. Not good for beautiful ladies." Beautiful? Did he just called her beautiful in an indirect way?

"Uh. I've to pay the bills I'll be just back in a few minutes."
"Let's go together!" He asked
"No you stay here, I'll just be back" she said

"I didn't liked the surrounding, can't let you go alone"
"Please stay here! I'll just be back"
"Then come early" he said as he understood that she'll go alone, no matter what.

She went and he sat there itself. Freya was constantly mumbling something. He got irritated and shouted 'shut up'.

"Hey! I've heard this voice before let me recognize." She got up to look at the driver seat and saw Shaun sitting with irritated expressions.

"Oh it's you! Cathy's boyfriend." She exclaimed.
"Husband!" He said.
"Yeah whatever, it's because of you only. She planned to be girl friend of yours, because of you only she has to marry you."

"What do you mean by planned?" He said confusingly.
"Oh! She knew that you're a business man and could save her from her family that's why she initiated your so called relationship."
Shaun looked at her furiously and saw Cathy moving towards them.

"Oh! I'm sorry, I'm a bit late. You can start the car."
"Get down !"
She saw his darkened eyes and asked scaredly," what happened?"

"You married me just to take your revenge over your family?" He said in a low voice. Her expressions changed and face paled.
"Shaun, i-"

"Yes or no " he asked.
"Please listen to me I was-" she tried to explain.

"Yes..or..no.." he said and looked at her. She got frightened by seeing his dark eyes and face red from anger.
"Yes" she mumbled almost like a whisper and got silent.
