Shaun's sleep broke at midnight. He saw Catherine lying at the edge of the bed curled up into a ball. He tried to touch her and felt her body hot, very hot.

He grew more worried when  She didn't respond to his call. He immediately took her to the hospital.

Shaun and Chester were waiting outside the emergency ward. The doctor came and Shaun asked about Cathy," How's she now,doctor?"

"Mr. Hill you should not be harsh to your wife. She's just 25, not much mature to handle this much. Moreover this was her first time, you should have seen her comfort."

Turned out that the last night was her first time. Suddenly all the accusations he spat to her last night came into his mind and he felt guilty.

"Well, she'll gain consciousness within half an hour you can meet her. We have done the stitches, so please take care of her."
"Yes Thank you so much doctor" Chester said when he saw that Shaun wasn't in state of mind to respond and the doctor went away.

"I think you should have talked to her"
"Shaun, what the hell do you think you've done" Aarav came into the hospital as Shaun called him then. He came from Melbourne with the earliest flight at such late hour.

"She was really sweet to you. See what you did. I think if you decided to marry her you should respect her atleast. You shouldn't have married her back then. Do you regret it?"
"Shut the fuck up! Why are you taking her side so much do you have a crush on her?"

"Shaun think about it with a free mind. You remember when you asked me about her? Do you know what she calls me - brother! She has always asked about you favourites. She had fallen in love with you to the core. If not trusting, you should have atleast talked to her"

Thinking about it he regretted more, about last night. He would never regret marrying her, atleast after this incident.
He thought who could have done that and took out his phone to call Hadley.
" Greetings Young master hill, I have shared a video with you for yesterday's incident. I wanted to share it earlier but when I saw you getting young madam out safe, I didnt" Hadley said happily waiting for an appreciation but.

"You're fired then" Shaun shouted over the phone.
"Shaun there are more patients here calm down" Chester made an effort to calm him.

"Do you know what he have done"
"Yeah, I listened it but he just thought good for you. He is your assistant from past 8 years don't behave like this. Send him the number from which you received those messages and he can find about that."

"Yes young master please." Hadley who overheard everything said.

Shaun gave him the no. And nurse informed that Cathy is gaining consciousness.
He almost flew to her ward.

When Cathy saw him she got really scared. "Young master hill, please forgive me. I beg you just leave me and let me go. I'll never ever return into your life. I really regret falling for you. Please." She had really loved him for some moments but now..

"What the hell are you saying? Do you regret loving me? Then also I'll not let you go. " He said furiously listening to her statement.
She got anxious seeing him in anger. His eyes reflected some anger that resembled his last night image a bit.

"No no forgive me I'll never say it again.. please don't do anything"
The woman he loved is now scared of him this much. He loved her old self when she was confident and bubbly, if he said he didn't like her food . She feels the hurt to her self respect and never asked him again. But now..

Yes, he had discussed about it with Aarav, his most closest friend and found that he developed a bit of liking towards her. He even thought to make this work but now he'll have to work hard.

"Calm down. I will not do that. See I'm really sorry for last night, I mistook you and-"
"Does your sorry define her condition just now" Freya, who just entered the ward, said angrily.

"Cathy why are you not saying anything to him? Didn't you say you started to like him and he's sweet? Is this the sweetness you've fallen for?"
"You're her friend that's why I'm not saying anything. That doesn't mean you can come here and meddle between our matters.

"Friend? You didn't even spare her. Then I'm only her best friend I know the results can be worse but I'm not scared you mr. Hill I'll report it to the police you see "
"Freya shut up and get out" Catherine said to her fearing that Shaun can do more than worse to her.

"See! I've always seen her confident side. Once her parents had locked her in the basement because she disobeyed them, her condition was not good there. She's scared of dark locked room from then.
But now I think you're worse than that. You have also seen her confident and good side but now see what you have done to my friend, Shaun hill mark my words you'll regret it"

He was already regretting so muchand now. His head hurt.

"Freya please" Cathy said with tearful eyes and hugged her.
"Cathy calm down, I'm here now"
"You go we'll talk tomorrow."
"Are you scared about me? He can't do anything to me"

Helplessly, She left then after giving a look to Shaun.

"Please don't mind she just said this in anger. Please don't do anything to her."
"Do I seem a maniac who keeps punishing everyone?"

"No just last night" she said lowering her head.

"I'm sorry. I have seen the footage of that area I'll surely punish that man and anyone who's behind it"
She didn't know what to say afterall anything can agitate him.

Are you hungry? Let me ask someone to give you meals. He got up.
"Can you please call the doctor?"
"Are you feeling pain? Let me-"
"No I just want to ask when can I be discharged"

"She said after 2 days and your stitches can be removed after 15 days" he said with a tinch of guilt in his voice but she didn't recognise it.

"Oh" was her short reply.
The food came and she was having difficult having it due to infusing attached.
"Wait! I'll feed you" He sort of tried to ask with hesitation but she took it as order and hummed in reply.

He fed her with utmost care and made her lay comfortably to sleep.

Next day,
After feeding her lunch, he was cutting apples for her when some news was displayed over the television.

"Two men had an accident in a whole crowded market area. They are now in hospital and doctor says it's hard for them to survive. They've got burns on their face both pairs of hands and legs broken and can't even move a bit, people say that it would be better if they were dead. According to our past sources they had kidnapped a girl yesterday in the same market."

"Ah.. these are the same men who kidnapped me yesterday." She said hesitantly.

"Then it serves them right!"
"Don't you think it's too much"

"Why? They kidnapped you and here you're giving them sympathy?" He said confused.

"I just think that it's too much. I wish they'll soon get  better."

"Not so easy!"
"How can you say that?" She asked in a daze.
"Uh.. didn't you see the reporter just said."
"Yes!"

"Now, have these apples. I've peelen them for you."
"I'm not in moo-" his expressions changed as she started to say. He had wasted over 3 hours peeling 2 apples for her watching a tutorial with utmost difficulty and here she is not in mood.

"I'll love them. Please give that to me." She said hesitantly as she watched his expressions change.
He then passed her the plate of apples and there were two apples designed in the shape of ducks, two ducks facing their faces to each other, like a perfect couple.

She looked at him confusingly and he smiled smugly.
