•|The suspicion|•

Catherine just came back from Hudson and hearing constant sound of dribbling, she moved to the basketball court in the backyard of their seaside villa.

Moving down, her eyes fell over a tall masculine figure who was constantly working on the basketball aggressively, at the end he hit the net with a perfection.

She realised that she only adored Ethan as a player but now watching Shaun, she discovered the real charm of an athlete.

But, before she could even comment, some claps sounded and a girl of about 21-22 came squealing, "Oh god! Young master hill you're awesome"

Catherine narrowed her eyes at her and moved in front. Noticing her, Shaun came and exclaimed." You came early"

"Yeah, I thought you would be feeling lonely so I came" she said with a smile but her eyes were fixed in that girl. Shaun noticed this and introduced her.

"She's Shelly Langley. I appointed her as the nurse for my treatment." He said indicating towards Shelly.

Langley? Wasn't there a girl with the same mid name, his ex-girlfriend. But she's dead? Is it possible that this girl is something related to sarah?

Catherine suddenly felt unease. As she noticed her facial features, she was quite fine but still nothing compared to her with scar too. Her heart relieved a bit and she was about to say something but Shelly interrupted in between.

"Young master hill, you should now sit inside and rest. You can have a bath after half an hour as bathing suddenly after a physical activity is not good."

"Okay" he said and wrapped an arm around Catherine's waist taking her inside with him.

She was really stunned as he listened to Shelly without any interruption but she couldn't comprehend something as she was the one who asked him to have a nurse.. couldn't he keep a male? It frustrated her.

At night,

Catherine just entered the room after taking a bath, she noticed that Shaun was asleep. It was too unusual, he often works till late night or wait until she comes.

She noticed an empty glass of milk kept at the side table of the bed. Shelly might have brought it. But it was her duty, she felt a little strange suddenly. Thinking that he might be tired, she went and slept wrapping her arms around his torso.

The next evening,

There was a dinner all the friends of Shaun planned for some occasion. They initially planned for barbequed pork but the plan suddenly changed to shrimps and tofu.

"Oh my god! She's the cousin of sarah. Thank you so much Shaun for finding her, we're so much ashamed that you had to suffer." Rodney's eyes were filled with tears as he saw Shelly.

Suddenly, Catherine entered and the aura turned a bit off.

"You called her too?" Rodney asked frustratedly to Shaun.

"What? Is there any problem with me?" She asked sharply.

"Shau-" Rodney tried but Shaun interrupted.

"She's my wife and you can't meddle on our affairs."

Catherine's eyes landed on Shelly. She was wearing a much expensive dress unlike yesterday. Also, they all were talking about something before.

"Why is the plan changed so suddenly?" Catherine asked.

"Shelly wanted to have shrimps. We've met Sarah's relative after a long time. Can't you just stay calm?" Rodney said angrily.

"What did I say, I just asked normally. And she's Sarah relative? I didn't even knew." Catherine growled.

"She's Sarah's cousin. We know sarah from a long time unlike you." He spat.

Shaun's head suddenly hurt, he didn't wanted Catherine to know about it. To stop them he said.

"Fine, Catherine please heat the vegetables for me."

"Enough, how much are you going to eat? You already had 5 pots. Now, it's not safe." Rodney said.

Catherine knitted her brows. He never ate that much if she was not there. However, now things seemed to have changed.

Days and nights passed and their relationship seemed to have changed a lot. Shaun's health got better but his memory got very worse. He often forgot minute things which was very unusual. Catherine was very suspicious of Shelly, she didn't even had any intimacy with Shaun since Shelly came.

Today, Shaun had to attend doctor for his appointment about health.

Chester was there too as him being a doctor, had too many relations with big doctors out there and much knowledge about the field.

"Hmm.. I must say that your health has got worse. Also, your reports are fine but your memory loss has also gotten worse. " The doctor informed while Catherine worriedly looked at Shaun.

"Don't worry Shaun, I have called anasthia. She's best for treating these kind of cases, you'll be fine." Chester consoled as he noticed both of them being worried.

Moving out of doctor's ward, Catherine noticed Shelly coming towards Shaun. Her brows knitted.

"Young master hill, what did doctor say?" She asked passing a bouquet of flowers to him.

Catherine moved towards her and immediately held her by her hairs. Shelly cried a little and Shaun was about to stop Catherine. But before he could do so, Rodney entered the cabin and pushed Catherine away from Shelly.

"How dare you hurt her? Shaun, don't you see the behaviour of your wife..?" Rodney shouted angrily and suddenly a nurse shouted.

"Oh my god! You're bleeding."

Catherine felt a warm liquid gushing out from the middle of her legs and she fainted.

Everyone's attention immediately diverted to Catherine and Shelley's face changed.

"Catherine" Shaun immediately picked Catherine up and she was admitted into the emergency ward.

Coming back, he punches Rodney hard that his lips started bleeding.

"Shaun. I can't believe it, we've found Sarah relative after so long and still you -" Rodney started as an angry man.

"That's not my concern. If anything happens to Catherine, you'll be dead. So better pray for her." Shaun mumbled in a low hoarse voice.

"She's just on her periods. Can't you understand?" He said irritatedly and Shaun prayed.

"Hope so"

After two hours, the doctor came and said worriedly.

"You must take care of her. She's carrying twins and she could have lost her life with them. I'm sorry to say but you are very careless as a husband." The lady doctor said in a bit rough tone but Shaun could care less.

He almost went crazy hearing she was pregnant. Oh god! They planned to have a baby but this sudden thing..... He was on the ninth cloud and immediately rushed to Catherine's ward.
