Some time later

Kat pours the champagne into all four glasses.

"Let's make a toast to our friendship!" She said.

"Good idea." I said.

Everyone raises their glasses, except for Sam. We glance at him, and he's staring at his phone, looking white as if he's just seen a ghost.

"Sam.. is everything okay?" I asked worried.

"No way in hell! This is not what we need right now!" He said.

"What are you talking about?" Colby asked.

"Look at this." Sam shows something on his phone to Colby, and he cursed under his breath.

"What's the matter?" I asked.

"Mina, who else." Colby said.

"What did she do?" Sam hesitate for a second.

"She has gone public with her claims." Sam says.

"Public how?" I asked.

"She just told some journalists she had enough materials to sue Colby." Sam starts pacing the floor and cursing to himself.

"This is not good." He said.

"What kind of evidence do you think she has on us?" I asked.

"She doesn't. She's making stuff up." Colby said.

"But what if we weren't careful enough?" I asked. Colby looks surprised composed for a man who's getting sued.

"We were. Don't worry, okay?" He said.

"How can we not? She's about to sue you to the ground!" Sam said.

"Guys, calm down. Mina just wants her five minutes of fame, that's all, besides, if Fabian saw us here at any moment, he would have noticed how crazy in love we are." I feel my cheeks turn pink, and butterflies take flight in my stomach.

"Right y/n." He said looking at me.

"Y-yeah you're right. I'm pretty sure we never slipped up." I said.

"That's what i've been saying." Colby kisses my forehead.

"Don't worry. Let's go back to having a good time, okay?" Colby said.

"I'm down for that."  Kat empties her full glass in one swift motion.

"Who wants a refill?" She asked.

"You?" I said, everyone starts laughing and looks more relaxed.

"What? I haven't had this much fun in forever! I want to party." We all raised our glasses again and have a good time. Ten minutes later, Colby's phone starts to vibrate on the table. Colby picks up and walks away.

"That guy needs to chill with his work." Sam said.

"Well he's a big cheese in Hollywood. It's probably not easy to leave work at home when you're such an important producer." Colby comes back a moment later and sits next to me.  He had a stern expression on his face, looking almost hunted.

"Is everything alright?" I asked.

"Uh- yeah.. just work." He gives me a smile, but it doesn't reach his eyes.

The next day

I throw my arms around my best friend, hugging her tight.

"I wish you could stay a few more days. I'll miss you so much." I said.

"Don't be silly. We'll see each other in a week, right?" She said.
