The next day

"Thanks for meeting up with me Kat." I said giving her a smile.

"I really needed a break from Colby's grandma." I sighed.

"She's really that bad, huh?" Kat asked.

"This morning, she wanted a special brand of cereal- the once we had weren't good enough which is crazy since Colby has about ten different flavors." I said.

"So what did you do?" Kat asked me.

"I went to the store and got the once she wanted." Kat raises an eyebrow.

"Don't look at me like that. I really want her to like me." I said.

"She's not gonna like you just because of the cereals." I release a heavy breath.

"You're right, like always. So, what should I do?" I asked.

"Just show her how much you and Colby care about each other." Kat said.

"Except everything in our relationship is fake." I said looking at her.

"Don't be ridiculous. There's nothing fake about the way you look at each other.. or the way you touch each other." Kat winks at me.

"We're just attracted to each other, that's all." I said.

"Liar, liar, pants on fire." Kat said laughing.

"What are you, twelve?" I asked.

"I'm just saying it as it is. I really think that Colby has feelings for you.. in fact, Sam thinks that too." Kat said smiling.

"You and Sam talk about us?" I questioned.

"Yeah, all the time. You two are a hot topic right now!" She said.

"Jesus..."

"Not like that, now come on let's fine you something to wear to impress the cranky grandma." Kat said.

Some time later

"You look amazing!" Kat said looking at me.

"Thanks, This one's perfect." I said looking at the dress.

an hour later

Dinner's in 2 hours
I have a plenty of time to prepare everything!
I do think I have some cooking skills.

I shake my head, thinking about last night.

I really hope this dinner will be better then the last one.

Suddenly, Colby enters the room...and slams the hard behind him. As I look up I immediately notice a grim look on his face.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"This. This is wrong." He hands me a piece of paper and I look at it.

It's a letter from the court....
Mina is suing him!

"I can't believe this." I said.

"She's out of her mind! She's demanding an investigation into our marriage." He said.

"I've never met anyone as persistent as her. Why can't she just give up?" Colby scoffs, clearly irritated.

"Some people will do anything for money." Colby said.

"I wish there was something we could do." I said.

"It's not your problem, y/n." Colby said, I looked at him.

"Hey, of course it is! We're in this together, Colby." He smiles at me gratefully.

"We'll win this." I said smiling.
