Chapter Four: Snow's POV

"Something's wrong." I said to Charming. "Something's wrong with Emma."
"How do you know?" He asked as he scanned his flashlight into alleys and looked through windows.
"I just know. We need to go find her." He looked worried, but as an officer, you could tell he was mainly concerned with his primary task.
"She's with Regina."
"I'd rather see for myself. I trust Regina, but I have before and it's been broken."
"That's not trust. Trust is when you believe that she won't break any promises, and she won't break your trust."
"We need to go." I turned around and started running, thankful that I'd left baby Neal with the Blue Fairy. We ran for about four blocks to the center of town, and then we went down Emma's street of our search. We could see her yellow car, and Regina holding a limp body.
"Regina! What happened?" I yelled as I approached her. Emma was pale and seemingly lifeless.
"She's a little heavy!" Regina struggled with her until David went and picked her up easily. "We were about to leave, and she was already really weak, but she just passed out onto the steering wheel." She had a look of worry.
"Well, do we take her to the hospital?"
"We should probably take her to Gold. Her heart was weakened. Maybe he can do something to strengthen it again." We all piled up in the car, and Regina drove. I sat in the back with Emma laying down, her head on my lap. I stroked her golden hair, and examined her pale face. I just hoped he had something he could do that wouldn't cost us something ridiculous, but even then, I would give almost anything to have my daughter back.

We finally arrived at Mr. Gold's shop. It was closed, but we knocked on the door and he opened it.
"We need help." Regina said in her 'business voice.' She strolled right into the shop like the Regina I'd always known.
"Alright then. What happened to Emma?" He asked as he glanced over her limp body.
"It's a long story, but her heart was weakened when someone tried to crush it." Regina responded. David laid her down on a small bed in the corner of his shop where Henry laid when he was under the sleeping curse. Rumpel reached in and took out Emma's heart, which had turned a pale whitish-pink color.
"That's what happens when a heart is weakened." The heart was beating abnormally slow, and there was much less of a glow coming from it. "I could fix it all, but it comes with a price." Of course it does.
"Name your price." Regina commanded.
"I'll need you to go to Wonderland."
