Their Solution 

Bexley was left glaring at the wall as Lexa stood next to her, "if you glare gets any more heated you might burn the hut down" Lexa said softly as she pulled the girls gaze off of the wall.

"Your girlfriend is going to kill me and Luna" Bexley spat making Lexa look away slightly.

"Luna ran from the conclave, she deserves to die she's a-"

"Traitor to the blood" Bexley said dully, "I know" she said softly as she walked over to the bed.

Lexa watched the younger nightblood with sad eyes before following her, "I'm sorry" Bexley looked back to Lexa.

"I know" she said softly as she laid on her stomach with her arms crossed in front of her face.

"First, we survive. Then we find our humanity again" Abby said as they secured two samples.

"I'm sure they said the same thing in Mount Weather, too" Raven snapped back as she started tapping on glass.

Roan walked up beside Clarke with a frown, "You okay?" He asked as he looked off the small balcony.

"Are you?"

Roan shook his head as he tried to smile, "Nightbloods. You'd think I'd have learned my lesson after Lexa" he said as a door closes, "We're doing the right thing" he said softly as he looked to the blond with sympathetic eyes.

"You sure about that?" Clarke rebutdtaled with a frown.

"Certainty's a luxury leaders can't afford" Roan said as he looked over Bexley's form on the table, Juno was sat next to her holding her hand in his own before light kissing her knuckles.

Clarke looked to where the king was looking as her heart pang in her chest, "I'm no king" she said softly.

"Maybe not, but you were born for this. Lexa knew it, and so do I. You don't back down when things get hard" Roan stated as he leaned on the railing.

"It's always hard"

"And yet here you are. I know you don't believe it now, but one day, they will thank you for what you're doing here"

"Murphy won't. Emori won't. Juno and Bexley won't." Clarke said as she thought about how this would backfire on her like it always does.

Roan folded him arms on the railing before leaning his head down on his arms and looking back to her, "If it works, they will."

Clarke looked back to the king, "What if it doesn't work?" She asked with a sad tone.

"Then we die knowing we did everything we could to save our people" he said shortly.

"Did you come up here to make me feel better?"

"It's never been my strength" roan said with a small smile as he looked back out over everything.

Bexley looked around the room she was in as she tried to keep her eyes closed and stay with Lexa a little longer but Lexa had already left and she was left alone in her own mind.

It was quiet for a moment longer before Murphys voice finally made his way into her mind, "You haven't forgotten? Then, please, you don't need to do this. Don't do it. Please, please, you don't need to do this. You know, it's too bad that you weren't a real Nightblood because then you could have been Commander. Imagine how many people you could've killed then. Tell me something, after you murder Emori, am I next? Ok! I'm begging you, please. I love her. Don't do this." He pleaded with Clarke as tears welled in his eyes as he struggled against his restraints.

Bexley shifted before her eyes opened slightly, she looked around for a moment with squinted eyes as Clarke's voice cut through the air, "Mom, we have to do this" Clarke said as she looked over to her mother as Juno stood and walked over to the blond.

"I can't"

Juno scoffed, "oh so now you think you've gone too far?!" Abby shuttered at the boys hateful words as he glared at the two.

"I'll finish it. I bear it so they don't have to" she said picking up one of the two viles.

"Clarke" Jackson tried as Juno was quick to grab the other.

Abby looked at the two teens with wide eyes, "No. No" she said as she tried to get over to the two.

"We're testing it on us" Juno stated before he and Clarke injected the two viles into their arms and looked over everyone.

Clarke and Juno were on one of the exam tables with Abby and Jackson looking over the two after they had sat for two hours to see if it had worked.

Abby and Jackson both cut into the two teens arms and watched as black blood oozed out of the cuts, "it worked" Clarke said softly.

"It's been two hours. How do you feel?" Jackson asked as he looked over the two.

"Ready" Clarke said as she walked over to the chamber as Juno walked over to Bexley who was still on her table but was more aware of her surroundings now.

"I won't let you do it"

Clarke shook her head at her moms words, "Mom, I trust you. It'll work. Turn it on" she said towards Jackson as Luna moved closer to the younger girl who everyone thought was still asleep.

Juno pulled her hand up from her side and lightly pressed his lips to her knuckles with a soft smile, "sunshine you can open your eyes" he said softly as he blocked out the world around him.

Bexley let a small smile slip onto her face before her eyes fluttered open, "moonlight" she said softly making the boy tilt his head in confusion.

"Moonlight?" Juno asked as Bexley hummed in agreement.

"Yeah because you call me sunshine I was thinking of calling you moonlight because you light up the darkest parts of me and keep me daft from them" Bexley mused as she looked up to him.

"We're wasting time" Clarke said as she walked over towards the chamber, "No. Mom. Wait" the blond yelled as Abby picked up a metal rod and started to break the glass of the chamber as everyone yelled for the woman to stop.

The woman finally stopped when the glass had two big holes in it as Luna watched with slight amusement, "Don't worry. It'll all be over soon now."

"I can't lose you" Abby said sadly before she started sobbing.

Clarke pulled her mother into a tight hug, "You're okay" Abby's daughter comforted softly as everyone around them shared a look of shock and confusion.
