Curtis paced up and down the platform they stayed on. "Curtis, calm down." Lena tried to get through to him. "It might not be real." He stared right at her, as if to ask her if she was stupid.
"How would it have gotten to us if no one sent it?" He asked her, Sage letting out a small laugh as they played with the cards in their hand. Lena stared at them, and ultimately had no answer to Curtis. He was right.See, he could just accept the fact that there were other people in this city, but this is Curtis we're talking about. He had to meet them, and he had to know them, and fast.
Another note appeared on the station floor overnight, leaving the group to believe they slept through another train passing. They hadn't. Only one train was still in commission after the event and the note passer had already used it. The note just... appeared.
This one told of a precise location for this person. The complete opposite side of town. Sage, having come from there, knew that side had a lot more rubble then this side did. There was no way one person could go alone.
