Living in Rome was harder than you'd think. It was filled to the brim with slavery, murder, and child molestation. Don't even mention the wildfire we call malaria! Or the plagues every few years! My intestines were practically gone at this point.

But that shithole was still my home. My home, filled with the people I love about and the things I love, all things I was forced to leave behind by my father Faustus. Pater, why would you ever do such a cruel thing?

But I always had my family by my side. I could always trust them, until everything changed when they decided to move to the big city of New York. Where the serving sizes are at least triple the size of what we were used to, causing their biggest "wildfire" disease to be obesity!

As I sat in my new bed in my new apartment I wondered, what brought me here? Sabina!? Just a girl from Subura! This different big city was not the place where I belonged. But as I looked out of my window I spotted an oversized speckled rat and was immediately transported home. It was a reminder that maybe New York wasn't so different from home, well other than the size of the rat. Maybe it was just a romanticized city, and at it's apple's core was just like home sweet rome.

But I didn't know yet, maybe one day I'll find out.
