You are a drug I can't get enough of,
The only hallucination that lingers,
As I close my eyes,
The dopamine that causes immense pleasure,
The serotonin that brings happiness,
You are the ecstasy that makes me weak,
They say beware of the human-shaped drugs,
They say once you taste it,
You'll never get enough,
It'll consume you,
And yet the things you do to me,
I want it all,
When the world stops turning,
You will be the fire burning,
The wildfire in my lungs,
The soul that knows what to do,
With the flames behind my eyes.
