It was silent most of the ride to the camp where the rest of Glenn's group was. As Rick and Morales, who sat in the passenger seat, whispered about Merle being left behind, Violet sat right behind Rick, who was driving. She sat with her back leaning on the back of his seat, legs in crisscross form. Her head was down, and her eyes were closed, but she wasn't asleep, just thinking. She was thinking about how they needed to find Rick's family ASAP and what her game plan was after they found his family.

Before she saved Rick, she was going from place to place on the run from the monsters of her past and present she knew she wouldn't be able to stay with Rick even if she wanted to. It's too dangerous for her to keep him around. He'll end up getting killed, and she doesn't want to live with the blood of an innocent man on her hands, knowing he died because of her. That's why she pushes people away and why she initially refused to help him at first. Violet can't get other people mixed up in her problems. It'll only end up with innocent people getting killed, which she doesn't want. So they need to find this man's family so she can leave and move as far away from other people, for their safety and her sanity.

Before Violet could think on the matter any further, she failed to see just how long she was lost in her thoughts, seeing as she was interrupted by the van coming to a complete stop and opened her eyes to see everyone rushing to get out. She turned and looked at Rick and Morales, who told them to meet everyone before also exiting the van as well Violet took the passenger seat after he left the vehicle and watched emotionlessly as Rick pinched the bridge of his nose, probably wishing he was with his family. It was quiet for a few minutes before they heard Morales call out to them, "Hey, helicopter boy, hell girl come say hello!" Rick looked up before looking over at Violet, who was already looking at him. He didn't need to say anything. His eyes said it all. They were practically begging to go and meet the group of new people and as much as Violet wanted to say 'no, let's go' but something inside her couldn't say no to the man so, in the end, she sighed quietly and nodded before looking at him seriously.

"We can go say hello and grab a bite to eat if they're generous enough to offer, but after that, if your family isn't with them, we need to leave as soon as possible, got it?" Rick nodded, agreeing with what Violet said before they both simultaneously left the vehicle and started walking toward the large group of strange people. As soon as they looked at the group of people, Rick stopped abruptly in his tracks, in turn making Violet stop as well and look at him curiously as to why he stopped and looked ready to cry but had a look of realization as he pointed over at a woman and child. Rick quickly snapped back to reality as his son yelled out to him as he ran towards his dad with his mother right on his tail. Rick started speed walking and kneeled in time to catch his son as they began to cry together. He was quick to stand back up with his son secure in his arms as he walked over and hugged his wife, who was in shock, not sure if what she was seeing was fake or real, but as soon as Rick hugged her all doubts went away as she quickly hugged him back. Still, she looked over at the man with curly hair with a questionable look as the man gave her a somewhat guilty smile and looked away.

Violet and the rest watched silently as the family was finally reunited. Violet seeing that her work here was done and all was well she, decided that her presence was no longer needed. She made a quick and quiet escape into the woods. But, she wasn't fast enough seeing as Rick had looked up just in time to see the flash of long purple locks fleeing through the trees and told his family to wait as he needed to go grab the person who brought him back to them alive before quickly running after Violet.

Luckily, he was fast enough to catch up with the tall female as he tried to get her attention. "H-hey! Hey, wait a minute! Violet!" he wouldn't give up, much to her annoyance, so she just decided to give up, and with a groan, she stopped and swung around with a slightly irritated glare. "What" she snapped and waited impatiently as Rick stopped a few feet in front of her with his hands on his knees as he tried to catch his breath.

"*gasp* y-you walk VERY fast." Rick quickly gathered his bearings, though, as he stood straight up and looked at Violet. "Why'd you leave? You didn't even say bye" Violet gave Rick a slight glare looking at him wondering if he was stupid, before snapping a reply to remind him of their deal from the beginning.

"In case you've forgotten, I told you that once we found your family that I'm gone. We are NOT buddies, and there were to be no strings attached while we looked for your family, right?" Violet was being harsh on Rick, sure, but it had to be done. She needed to leave as soon as possible to lessen the risk of putting Rick, his family, and the people of this camp in danger. She didn't necessarily want to be alone again after somewhat getting used to Ricks's presence, and she knew that Morph didn't want them to be alone anymore, either. But, they both knew it was for the best and for the safety of everyone in this camp that they left while they were able and as fast as they could. "You found your family. I'm no longer needed" She then turned to walk away again, but Rick still didn't give up.

Determined to convince her to stay, Rick thought about what to say next before finally he remembered something "The guns," he spoke, making Violet freeze before peaking over her shoulder and giving Rick a questioning glance. "You still need the guns and ammo I promised to give you after I found my family, right" He stood and watched as Violet quickly checked her bag to see if she really needed the guns and ammo, only to curse to herself and put her bag back on her back.

Violet swung around to look at Rick. "There's no point in staying. You ended up dropping the damn bag back in Atlanta," she said bitterly.

"We can head back sometime tomorrow and get them if you stay with us tonight," Rick compromised as he watched in hidden satisfaction as Violet finally gave in and sighed before nodding with an irritated look on her masked face

"Fine, but just for tonight and tomorrow Once we retrieve the guns and ammo, I'm gone, got it?" Violet snapped. Rick nodded happy to have gotten her to stay, and as they were walking away, Rick just had to ask.

"Are you ever going to take off your mask? It must be hot with that on all the time" Violet sighed before silently agreeing that it was boiling and she wanted to take the damned mask off, so she made quick work of taking the cover off, and Rick couldn't help but stare in awe as he stared at the unnatural beauty before him before quickly shaking his head and stating his thoughts "wow, your very beautiful" Violet could feel a slight blush form having never been called beautiful before it made a strange unidentified feeling bloom deep within her as she gave him a flustered glare.

"S-shut the hell up, you fool!" she shouted in a flustered rage before quickly looking away and walking slightly ahead of Rick, who was too busy laughing at her outburst before catching up to her.
