As the two broke through the forest line, everyone turned in their direction. Everyone had their own emotions and thoughts when they first saw you. Most were pleasant. Others were instantly jealous *cough Lori cough*, and others were fascinated by the new and beautiful face that had just entered the camp. Lori watched in annoyance as Rick walked out of the forest with a beautiful woman. Feeling threatened by the new face, she was quick to step up and grab Rick's arm and asked in an almost sickeningly sweet voice and with a flutter of her lashes

"Who is this, honey?" Violet could only inwardly cringe at Lori's attempt to assert dominance and show that Rick was hers. It was a very poor and bitchy way to handle a new face, but Lori didn't care as she gave Violet the stink eye as she asked who she was. Carl, on the other hand, was fascinated with the newcomer that showed up with his father. Shane, on the other hand, couldn't stop checking the new chick out, looking her up and down in somewhat lustful hungry eyes lingering on her toned and voluptuous body. And the rest are captivated by the badass-looking beauty less creepily, though.

"This is Violet. She helped me find you guys and saved my ass a lot along the way, too" Rick laughed before giving Violet a meaningful look making Lori's glare intensify slightly. Violet gained a slight blush while looking away at said look as she glared at the floor and told him to 'shut up' before quickly becoming an emotionless shell again and introducing herself formally to everyone avoiding any and all eye contact with the jealous bitch, and creepy weirdo who wouldn't take his eyes off of her.

After introductions, Violet chose to steer clear of the locals and hide until it was night, not seeing the need to get to know the people that she'd be promptly forgetting after she went back to being on her own. Yet people kept trying to talk to her, especially that Shane guy, so she took to higher ground to hide, and when no one was looking, she scaled a tree and sat on one of the branches. Since she was at a high and far enough branch, she deemed it safe for Morph to come out for a while and fed him again before just enjoying the quiet for the rest of the day.

Time skip:

It was now nighttime, and everyone was preparing to sit around the campfire. Rick was looking for and calling for Violet, much to Lori's annoyance as she tried to convince him to leave Violet alone, saying that Violet was antisocial and threatening, according to Andrea, and should be left alone. Still, unfortunately for her, Rick was determined and wouldn't give up on trying to make her feel included, so she would maybe change her mind about leaving altogether and staying with their group.

Just before he could give up on looking, Violet, who had heard his calling jumped down from the last branches of the tree, she landed in a crouch a few feet behind Rick and Lori quietly and unnoticed before standing straight. "What?" she asked with a stoic tone and straight face while looking at the Happy Rick and not-so-happy Lori.

"You should join us at the campfire for dinner," Rick suggested as he smiled softly, making Violet feel that same weird feeling from when he called her beautiful earlier that day. It made her give him a slight glare, but before she could protest, Rick saw it coming and was quick to start convincing her to come join the group, who were all watching in silence as she finally gave up and nodded her head, giving in and saying she'd join them once again not able to say no to Rick who beamed at her.

As they walked over, there were two spaces left, one next to the creep who can't seem to keep his eyes off of her, AKA Shane, and the sweet older man Dale so I think the spot Violet took was pretty clear between the creep and the older man who has yet to make her hate him. As Shane thought the attractive female was going to sit by him, she walked right by him and over to Dale taking the spot next to him as he made her a plate of fish and gave it to her. Violet said a quiet thank you as she grabbed the plate of food. Everything was silent until they asked Rick how he felt when he woke up

"Disoriented, that's the thing that comes closest, disoriented," he said while everyone listened closely. "Fear, confusion, and all those things, but disoriented is the thing that comes closest," he finished explaining

"Words can be meager things, but sometimes they fall short," Dale explains

"I felt like I had been ripped out of my life and put somewhere else," Rick said while looking into the fire. "For a while, I felt like I was trapped in some coma dream, something that I may never wake up from. Ever" Rick finished explaining. Everything went silent for a few beats before Carl spoke up

"Mom said you died," he said quietly, looking up at his dad

"She had every reason to believe that, don't you ever doubt it," Rick said before looking up and making eye contact with a straight-faced Violet giving her a look that made that weird feeling slowly show again as he said this next bit "but I would have been dead if it weren't for Violet I can't begin to explain just how great full I am to have met such a wonderful person as her even though you may have that slight *cough very cough* aggressive edge I know that deep down your a very great person I know you are because if you weren't-then you would have let me die that day we met." As he explained this, it made the weird bashful feeling get slightly stronger, and the new emotion was enough to make her fight or flight activate. Having emotions has brought nothing but pain. When she showed signs of feeling, it was used against her. She needed to exit the situation and keep a distance for the remainder of her stay. She can't get attached. She won't let herself go through the pain of losing someone again. Plus, he has a family and a wife. She helped him return to his family. She can't get in the way of his family, so it's for the best that she quickly detaches herself from the group now rather than later. Plus, she couldn't stand the look of hatred coming from Lori and Shane's non-stop staring.

"I'm heading to bed for the night. I'll set camp in the tree I was in. Have a good night, everyone," Violet said with a stern glare as she quickly stood up and turned to walk away. She felt Rick was about to speak up, but as soon as he opened his mouth, she snapped, making almost everyone jump."I SAID GOODNIGHT!" Before quickly walking away to set up camp as everyone looked at each other before talking about Daryl and Merle and calling it quits for the night themselves.

Over with Violet, she had climbed the tree she was in earlier and tied herself to a branch so she wouldn't fall off during the night. She was looking up at the stars and thinking about everything that had led her up to where she was right now. But before she could fall too deep within her dark memories, as she was snapped out of it by Shane's voice calling up to her. She glared down at him "What?!" She snapped, causing Shane to flinch and blush slightly finding her deep growling voice to be very attractive.

"t-there's room in my tent for another person if you want to sleep more comfortably," Shane offered while blushing ever so slightly darker at the thought of the tall mysterious beauty sleeping next to him. He figured since he couldn't keep going on with Lori since Rick was back he'd move on and try to get to know the beauty that brought him back. Violet looked down at Shane in annoyed disgust the thought of sleeping next to the male disgusted her

"No, I'm fine where I'm at" she spat down at Shane as she turned and got comfortable again while looking up at the stars trying to get tired again  Shane silently cursed to himself as he was turned down and gave up seeing that he wasn't going to convince her to sleep elsewhere and slowly walked back over to his tent. He looked back and looked at Violet one more time before finally entering his tent and going to sleep. As everyone finally got settled and fell asleep the last one awake was Violet as she stared up at the stars. The stars have always been a very comforting thing for Violet she didn't understand why but they've always been a soothing factor in her life. Whenever she was stressed, angry, sad or scared she'd just look at the stars and everything she felt will have just melted away. 'We need to leave as soon as we get those guns tomorrow it's not safe to stay in one place for to long they could catch up and the helicopter we saw earlier was not a comforting sight in the least and if they saw me they could be following my trail it's not going to be safe for Morph and I anymore if we keep staying put' and with that last thought Violet finally fell into a nightmare induced sleep not knowing what was to take place tomorrow would soon change the course of her and Morphs lives forever.
