Morgan felt her veins quiver as she heard the music and closed her eyes. Morgan met Richard's attention with a defiant smirk that lifted as he met his gaze, his eyes clenching as he tightened his fists and unwillingly obeyed Jenny's demands.

Jenny was standing in front of Morgan, yanking her attention, when she opened her eyes once again. The two of them observed her, reflecting Jenny's previous moments of defiance that she had shown minutes before. The inadvertent use of Layla's name caused Kyle's eyes to flare with rage.

As Ed listened to the exchange, disappointment was written all over his face. Layla had barely left the home when they had their final discussion. After Jenny finished speaking, Kyle questioned Morgan in an agonized tone, asking, "Did you not hear what they were going to do, or were you only thinking of it now?"

There was still more to say, so without pausing Morgan concluded the exchange, knowing exactly what she would say and how she would say it: "Yes...," after giving Jenny's dark eyes a long, hard look. "It's a free country," Morgan said, taking Jenny at her word. Jenny responded with an even bigger challenge.

Morgan said, "Leave the dance? With a rage threaded into his voice as if daring Jenny to dispute him."With incredulity, Morgan questioned, "Leave the dance?" Jenny mouthed the words he had said to her in a whisper, as if daring to contradict him, "I heard them." In this way, Jenny's world was already fragile, but with those words it was shattered to pieces beyond its original size. In a harsh tone, Morgan continued, "Where is she hiding?

Then Kyle cut him off with a harsh, suspicious voice. Morgan glanced up and his jaw tensed in answer to Kyle's question, "Morgan, do you know where he is? We have to find her no matter what."With a harsh, mistrustful tone, he said, "Morgan, do you know where he is hiding?" Morgan stared at Kyle with a tightening jaw. In spite of the fact that he could not see his face, he spat out the words, "No,". Despite the fact that he got away from us, we're going to find him. We'll damn well!" Layla walked after them, her heart bleeding.

A shadow emerged as they got closer to the entrance, and Felix Madden's figure stepped out of them. After seeing him in the dark, she was terrified and gave a halting apology, realizing that it wouldn't be worth it since she had previously seen him in the dark. Felix stood by himself in the hallway as Layla and him went outdoors. She looked up to see the stars gleaming like shards of ice in the uneasy quiet that permeated the space.

She was able to appreciate the grandeur of the night sky for a little period of time before recalling their purpose and experiencing the long-lasting adrenaline surge. When they got closer, the only thing remaining outside the ruined church was their automobile, and Hunter's headlights lit the deserted graveyard. Hunter calmed Layla's anxiousness by taking out a six-pack from his trunk and offering her a drink right away.

Layla felt like she shouldn't be there, but she forced herself to keep going, tripping forward in heels and clinging to both guys for balance. She clung on to the lads even though she felt out of place there. The first person to mention the possibility of a massive, luminous moon that left everyone perplexed was Leona.

As Layla struck back, Leona pointed out through the dark church door how big the UFO seemed, almost like it was a spacecraft from another planet instead of anything from our own. Layla responded by tossing a stone at Hunter. Layla grinned triumphantly as Leona gestured to the church's dim entryway. "Looks like some giant rotten pumpkin," she said in a low voice.

With its dilapidated bell tower pointing accusingly at the sky, the edifice seemed to climb to the skies like a sentinel. The city was encircled by three imposing walls that resembled an unbreakable fortress. Hunter gripped the lighter firmly, and when he switched it on, the bright flash of light knocked Layla back. Her white teeth gleamed against her skin as she touched the torch to the grave next to the church, her face beaming with joy.
