Sky's Pet Turtle

Donnie's POV

I decided to check on Sky and went to her room. I cracked the door open, the sight before me made me feel warm on the inside and I smiled. Mona was on the outside edge of Sky's bed with Raph and Sky in her arms, Sky was in Raph's arms between the two lovers. I'm glad Mona accepted Sky, Raph wouldn't be very docile like he is now if she didn't. Just as I was about to leave, Sky started coughing, causing her to wake up. I walked over and felt her forehead. It was a little warmer than it should be.

"Don..?"

"Hey pipsqueak, how ya feelin'?" I asked

She groaned and repositioned herself so she was on her side. She struggled a bit since she has two pairs of arms holding her.

"I take it you still feel pretty gross?"

She nodded and tried sitting up without waking Raph and Mona. She woke Mona, but Raph was still out cold. Mona took her hand off and lifted Raph's so Sky could get up. Sky crawled out of bed and leaned her head on the middle of my chest.

"Headache?"

"Mhm... can I have some more Tylenol? But not the night time stuff." Sky asked

I nodded and took Sky to my lab to give her some medicine.

3 hours later

"Guys! I found a little turtle in the sewers!" April called out, entering the lair

"Turtle?" Sky asked, looking over at April

"Hey that looks like Spike! Just younger and darker." I said as I picked up the little turtle

"Hey its a box turtle! Can we keep it?" Sky asked

I flipped the turtle over and saw it was a male, meaning it would be a little easier to care for. I could tell Sky wanted to keep the box turtle and I smiled.

"Sure, if you want any tips just ask Raph. Before Spike got turned into Slash, the two were inseparable." I said as I gave her the turtle

"Come on little guy, let's go find Raphie." Sky said as she pet the little turtle and walked off

April and I chuckled.

"I think she fell in love as soon as she saw him." April smiled

"Just like Raph."

"Just like me what?" Raph asked, coming out of Sky's room

"Hey you're finally up! Sky has a new pet, you might need to teach her how to take care of the little guy." I said with a smile

"New pet? What did she get?" Raph asked

"A box turtle. He looks like Spike but a lot younger, I think he's only two maybe three years old." I answered

"Yeah I better go find Sky. She has no idea what the little guy needs." Raph said as he walked away

Sky's POV

I laid on the floor in the dojo with my little turtle buddy. His eyes were pretty and his shell was black, he didn't look like he trusted me though. He kept his head close to his shell, same with his legs, but didn't fully go in. Can box turtles even do that?

"You're okay, lil guy. I won't hurt ya. Promise." I said as I pet his shell

He stopped slightly hiding and looked like he was smiling. I smiled seeing him come out.

"Oh yeah, we were supposed to look for Raph. Eh, I can find him later. For now, what should I call you? From what I can tell, you seem pretty trusting, which means you're friendly! How bout Buddy?"
