2O18 Donnie x F! Reader - Trauma

Donnie and Y/n are sitting in the lab, and Y/n was watching intently at what Donnie was creating. Y/n starred at it while he turned and fidgeted with the meatal and wires.

"I'm telling you to stop being so arrogant!" Raph suddenly yelled.

"Well IM telling you to mind your own buesness!" Leo yelled back.

Leo and Raph started yelling at eachother. Donnnie stood up and walked over to the entrance, peeking over, seeing them arguing again. Donnie sighed, and slipped his headphones on. He turned around to see Y/n closing her ears, and her eyes closed tightly.

"Y/n?" Donnie walked up to her, and placed a hand on her shoulder. She flinched and fell back a little.

"You are so rediculous!" Raph yelled louder. Y/n flinched and faced away from Donnie, he walked around in front of her, taking his headphones off.

'What's wrong?" He asked, concerned. Y/n took a breath out and in quickly, Trying to think of what to say. Y/n shook her head, too nervous to talk.

"It's the yelling isn't it?" He asked, Y/n nodded. Donnie got closer and held out his headphones to her. She looked at him, tears begining to come out of her eyes. She took her hands off her ears, and Donnie put the headphones on her head, and pressing a button on the side, making it play music.

Y/n breathed shakily as she listened to the music. Donnie took her hand and lead her back to the desk. He pressed a button on the desk, and the entrance shut. They sat on a bench together. Donnie let Y/n on his lap. Y/n put her face into his shoulder and wrapped her arms around his waist. Donnie put his arms around her too, slowly rubbing her back. After her breathing calmeed down, Donnie noticed they stopped arguing. He tapped Y/n shoulder, making her sit up. He pointed to his ear, signaling she can take it off now.

Y/n took them off and hung them around her neck. Donnie smiled at her, and sat her down on the bench.

"I'll be back in a bit babe." HE said, kissing her cheek, and walking out. He waved to her as he left and closed the door behind him. Y/n waited a few minutes, eventualy Donnie walked back in, looking slightly irritated.

"What did you do." Y/n asked, nervous.

"I had a talk with a certain couple people." He said, taking a breath and walked over to her

"Do you want to talk about it?" Donnie asked, sitting down beside her.

Y/n looked down with her eyes, and looked back up to him.

"I guess. You don't mind right?" SHe asked, nervous that he might not want to hear.

"If I didn't want to know I would not have asked." He smiled at her, putting an arm on her shoulder. She smiled wiping her eyes of any tears.

Y/n explained how her parents used to argue a-lot, and how her father verbally abused her often. When they got the divorce, She was left with her father. He started to hit her and yell at her. Y/n eventually ran away. Then she meet the turtles and April.

Donnie was shocked, and frustrated. He stood up and walked to the back of his lab. Shuffling around. Donnie cane back with a fluffy blanket, some chips, and a gaming device.

"Here." He said, having had too much contact recently.

"Distract yourself... Love you babe." He said, handing you the stuff and sitting down beside her and working on his invention again.

Y/n smiled and wrapped the blanket around her and ate chips and playing animal crossing.
