"Please? It'll be fun!" Jade begged Cole. "I got everyone else to join!" She smiled, Cole stared at Jade. "How did you get the others to agree?" He asked, suspicious.

"Well. First I got Zane. Then I convinced Jay and Nya.  Then Kai. Then Lloyd. Now you!" She smiled. Cole looked at her up and down, and sighed. "Fine." Cole finally agreed. 
"Yesssss." Jade smiled and started to walk off. "Where are you going?" Cole asked, "Oh I forgot to mention we're leaving right now. But don't worry! I got you prepared. Come on!" Jade ran back up to Cole, held his hand and they walked out of the monastery.

The seven of them walked up to a hotel. "Im second guessing my decision to come here." Jay said, feeling slightly scared. "Oh it'll be fine! It's a binding activity! To get to know each other better!" Jade smiled, and started to walk up to the building.

The others started to follow her, as the sun set behind the building, Everyone turned on their flashlights.

Jade's POV

As I took the lead into the creepy building. The double doors were shut tight. "Aw. Locked." I said, looking at the door. "Oh! That's too bad! Guess we gotta go ho-" "Got it!" I interrupted Jay, backing up and ramming into the door. They opened, making a loud creaking noise.
"Well that's one way." Kai commented. I led the way inside, With Lloyd beside me looking around. It was a dump. The walls were worn, chairs and tables in random places. The wallpaper barely visible behind the mold and the foliage of plants. "This place is creepy." Nya said,

"Let's go down this way first!" I said, turning to a dark hallway. It had a bunch of wood and ceiling tiles on the floor. I walked down the hallway, and noticed the others started ti lag behind. "What?" I looked at them, and they shrugged. "Come on. I'm not gonna go alone." I told them. I walked up to the group, and grabbed Cole's arm. "There. This is my buddy. Let's go." I dragged Cole along the hallway with me. "This is really freaky." Cole said, looking in every room we passed. "How are you not scared, even just a little." He asked. Jade shrugged, and continued down the hall with the others.
"Woah. Guys! There's a bar!" Kai said, looking into one if the doors. "Really? Let's go." I followed Kai into the room, Jay pushed past us and looked around. "This place it cool." Nya commented.

Kai jumped behind the bar. "Excuse me sir! Would you like a shot?" Kai imitated, in an english accent. Making us all laugh at him. He started rustling around below the desk. "What's under there?" Jay leaned over the desk, trying to see. "Just a bunch of expired alcohol." Kai said, sounding disappointed.

"Oh! I found something actually!" He stood up, pulling up a old looking book. "Woah." I walked up to Jay and Kai. The others cane over, Lloyd jumped over the bar and stood next to Kai.
"It looks like a diary." Lloyd said, just then I heard what sounded like a foot step. "Did you guys hear that?" I asked, "Hear what?" Cole asked. "Never mind. Open the book." I faced Kai.

He opened it, inside was scribbles and writing. They were barely legible. "Uh, I can't read this. Zane could you please help." Kai gave the book to Zane, who scanned the page, then showed a look of slight discomfort.
"It is a diary. It says, They won't let me leave. Help help help help. Let me leave. Im confined to this horrible place, they won't let me leave... Then it has a bunch of scribbled out words I cannot decipher." Zane handed the book back to Kai. We all cringed, as he read it I felt a shiver go up my spine.
"Why would someone write this? It's a hotel." Nya said, confused. "Maybe this hotel used to hold more than just people. It holds secrets." Lloyd said, flinching when he heard a creaking noise from outside of the room. "Guess that answers that." Jay said, nervous.

"Jade. Did you read up on this place?" Lloyd asked me. "Yea, a little. A document said they couldn't find much about the place because it was so infested with ghosts. The ghosts wouldn't let them find out more than they wanted to. They assume that this hotel had a dark past, and you know about ghosts. They reside in places where negativity is a very common thing. Like a school, hospitals, or hotels." I explained.

"Looks like this bonding thing became an investigation." Nya said, sounding somewhat excited. "Let's look around some more." Lloyd said, walking towards the door to the hallway.
"Uh, did anyone catch that the ghost wont let them leave? Did NO ONE catch that." Jay spoke up, as we all followed Lloyd.

I turned to face Jay, "Come on Jay. Don't get left behind." I waited for him to walk up to me and we followed behind the group. As we walked down the hall. Me and Jay heard a noise. We both turned around and looked at each other.
"You heard that voice too.. right?" Jay said, his voice getting higher. "Yea." I said to him, and turning back to where the group was supposed to be. "Uh. Jay." I tapped his shoulder. He turned to me, flicked his eyes over. Then double taking. He realized we were alone.

"Let's try to catch up!" Jay said, running down the hall. I followed behind. We ran fir a while. "What the- Where is everyone!?" I yelled. Starting to panic. "I don't know!" Jay started shaking a little, while looking around.

"I'll call Cole." I reached in my pocket and pulled out my phone. As I was about to hit the call button. My phone fell out of my hand and slid down the hall. "What the fuck." I said, Jay stared at the phone on the ground. "Go get it!" Jay ordered. "No! You get it!" I said, jumping behind him. "It's your phone!" Jay jumped behind me, trying to push me towards it. "No!" I held me ground.

"Okay! Okay! Let's go... together!" I suggested. He nodded. We stood beside each other and slowly inched towards it.

We both stopped. In a room right next to my phone. A dark figure slowly crawled into the doorway. Both my and Jay didn't dare to move an inch.
It was a lanky figure, with long hair and a long arm, that reached out and touched the screen. It called Cole by accident.
The phone rang, making the figure face it. Making a confused cackling sound. "Hello? Jade. Where are you and Jay? We've been looking for you!... hello? Hey! This isn't funny." Cole spoke through the phone. The creature screamed at the phone loudly. Making us finally scream and start to run away. "RUN JAY!!" I screamed, "I AM!" Jay yelled back, and the creature screamed a high pitched yell, and chased after us.

Cole's POV

As we walked out of the bar, it was pretty casual. There wasn't really any noise or creak. I turned to check on Jay and Jade, since they were normally the scaredy cats of the group. But they weren't there. "Uh guys." I caught the group's attention. "Jay and Jade are gone." I said, making Nya look around frantically. "What? Did they wander off?" She looked in nearby rooms. "Let's backtrack. They might've wandered off." Lloyd suggested.

We looked throughout most of the rooms. Then I got a call. It was Jade. "Guys. She's calling me!" I answered. "Hello? Jade. Where are you and Jay? We've been looking for you!... hello? Hey! This isn't funny." I looked at the group, they all wore worried faces. Then something screamed loudly through the phone. I jerked my phone away from my ear, then hearing Jade yell "RUN JAY!!" "I AM!" Jay yelled back. Another scream rang through the phone. "Jade? Jay?" I out the phone back to my ear. "Guys!" The phone hung up.
"We need to find them." Zane said, "Let's go!" Kai said, running down the hall. We followed. All of us looking for our missing and in trouble friends.
