Not your ray of sunshine {Bakukami}

Chapter 1

"You're what?!" Denki's father's voice boomed across the living room. "I'm bisexual. I like both girls and guy-". But before Denki could get the last word out, his father landed a hard slap to his face; making him stumble backwards and falling onto the floor.

Denki stared at the man in front of him in horror. Denki placed his hand on his cheek where his father had slapped him. Tears streamed down his face. Denki's father narrowed his eyes at him; his fists clenched so tightly that they almost turned a ghostly white.

"You are a disgrace and I will never accept a faggot like you as my son." Denki's father unbuckled his belt, taking a few steps towards Denki.

"N-no, please." Denki cried out; scooting backwards away from his father. His plead only infuriated his father more. "Shut the fuck up! You will always be a disgrace!" Denki's father raised his belt high before hitting Denki with it.

"Nooo!" Denki immediately shot up in a pool of cold sweat; his breathing was rapid by the minute. Taking a look around his surroundings, Denki saw that his classmates were looking at him, including mister Aizawa.

With tears streaming down his cheeks, the electric boy ran out of the classroom; not looking back once. That was the first time Denki had ever cried in class.

With no idea where his legs were taking him, Denki kept running until he came to a nearby park. Taking a seat on one of the wooden benches, Denki let his tears fall even more.

"Why did I have to cry? They were all staring at me." Denki cried into his hands. "They will think I'm a baby."

A small ding from his phone made Denki stop crying. Pulling out his phone from his pocket and staring at the screen, Denki noticed that he had a few messages from the Bakusquad group chat.

Mina👽: Are you okay, Denki? Is everything alright?

Kiri🦈: Dude, were you crying? Is everything okay?

Sero📼: Hey man, can you pick up some McDonalds?

Bakugo💥: Why the hell were you crying?!

Denki's eyes grew wide when he read Bakugo's message. Denki had liked Bakugo for some time now. But seeing Bakugo's message made Denki realize something: Bakugo saw him crying in class.

"He's not going to like me back after that." Denki sighed heavily and hung his head. "Why am I so stupid?"

Another ding erupted from Denki's phone, notifying him that he had a new message. Looking at the notification on his phone, Denki nearly turned snow white.

Dad: Come home NOW!!!
