Not your ray of sunshine {Bakukami}

Chapter 7

"Text me as soon as you enter your dad's house." Bakugo leaned against Denki's door frame, watching the electric boy add a few more necessities to his backpack and zipping it up.

Denki threw his backpack over his shoulder and walked over to the angry blonde; placing his hand on his shoulder. "Katsuki, I'll be fine. I promise."

Katsuki wanted to believe that Kaminari was going to be fine but the thought of his sperm donor putting his hands on Kaminari made his blood boil.

Seeing the angry expression on Katsuki's face, Denki wrapped his arms around Bakugo's neck; his touch immediately calming the explosive boy down. "I promise to text you as soon as possible."

Denki let go of Bakugo and walked out of his dorm; only to be pulled back into a hug. "If he tries anything, I'm gonna kill him."

A couple of minutes had passed as soon as Denki reached his father's house. He took a shaky breath of air before walking inside the house. Here goes everything.

Denki opened the door and stepped inside. A male figure with black hair and pale skin was passed out on the couch; 10 beer bottles could be seen lying on the floor in front of the drunk male.

So my sperm donor is drunk. That's nothing new. Denki quietly made his way through the living room and up to his bedroom; closing his door behind him.

Denki tossed his backpack on his bed and fished out his phone from his back pocket. I better text Katsuki or he might lose it. Denki opened his contacts and texted Bakugo.

Pikachu⚡: Kacchan?

Katsuki💥: Never call me that again. You sound like Deku.

Katsuki💥: Did your dad do anything stupid?

Pikachu⚡: No, but he was passed out on the couch when I arrived.

Katsuki💥: What a jerk.

Denki texted Bakugo for the rest of the day and didn't even realize that it was late until he had checked the time on his phone. Whoa! Is that the time?! 8:30pm?!

Pikachu⚡: I'll text you tomorrow, Katsuki. I need to go make dinner.

Katsuki💥: And it's already way past my bedtime.

Katsuki is typing.....

Katsuki💥: I love you.

Denki's heart skipped a beat as he read Bakugo's message. He loves me? I never knew the great explosion murder dynamight was even capable to love. Denki laughed before replying to Bakugo's text.

Pikachu⚡: I love you too.

Katsuki reacted to your message with ❤.

Denki switched off his phone and head downstairs to the kitchen. He opened the kitchen cabinet and took out a loaf of bread; deciding that he would make a simple sandwich.

As he was taking out the loaf of bread, Denki accidentally knocked over a glass cup; causing it to fall and shatter on the floor.

Denki scurried onto the floor to pick up the broken pieces but immediately felt a hard blow to his face. Denki held his cheek as his tears slipped down his eyes.

"What is wrong with you?" Denki's father shouted; his yellow eyes narrowed on the shorter male in front of him. "Why can't you do anything right?"

Denki's father took a step closer to him; making Denki scoot backwards. "Please, it was an accident." Denki cried out in fear; his breathing hitched.

"Accident my ass. You are a good for nothing bitch." Denki's father activated his quirk; taking a few more steps towards Denki.

"N-no, please. I'm sorry." Denki's father ignored his son's cries and shocked him until Kaminari was almost unconscious.

"You will always be a disgrace." Denki's father deactivated his quirk and looked at the crying male in disgust.

"If you tell anyone about this, I'll make your life a living hell worse than it is now." Denki didn't say anything or move at all; except looked his father in the eyes.

"Get out of my sight. You deserve nothing to eat tonight."

Denki ran to his room and locked his door; jumping onto his bed and cried into his pillow. Why does this happen to me? When will the abuse end?

Denki cried until he fell asleep. The poor boy was so depressed the next day that he didn't even leave his room the entire day.
