Kian's POV:
"Hurry the fuck up!"I yell up at Kai from the bottom of the stairs.I hear a faint "shut up" coming from her room as she opens the door. I love how she's getting more and more comfortable with me.
She's wearing a white tank top with a black leather jacket over it, Black skinnys that have rips in the knees and black vans. Her hair is big and curly like usual, barely any makeup on.
"Ready?" She nods and we walk out to my truck.
She fiddles with her hands in her lap the entire ride. Not saying one word. When we pull up to Alex's and Skate's, Cars are parked on the side of the road, in the grass and even in the neighbors drive way. People are crowded on the lawn and the porch, there's a guy throwing up in the bushes and Half naked girls scattered every where.
Kai shifts uncomfortably. "Holy shit" She says. I laugh at her but it soon fades away as I see how pale she is.
"You have anxiety, don't you?" I can tell because I use to have it but I got over it.
Her head shoots my way, glaring at me. "Who told you?" Anger laced in her voice.
"No one. I used to have it. I can tell your uncomfortable " I shut the car off. "Look, if its bothering you that bad we can go back home. Or we don't have to stay long."
Her eyes meet mine and she hesitantly opens the door.
Taking that as she wants to stay , I get out also.
We walk up the driveway and to the porch, ignoring the large amount of fucked up people everywhere.
The smell of alcohol and vomit fills the air as we walk in the house. I hear Kai groan behind me so I grab her wrist pulling her with me so I don't loose her.
I finally spot The guys in the kitchen and walk towards them. "I didn't think y'all would show up" Alex says, passing me a drink.
"Who's this?" Isaac Says gesturing to Kai, looking her up and down. Anger rises in me as she moves closer to me, uncomfortable under his stare.
"Quite fucking starring at her like that" Ive never liked him.
He throws his hands up laughing. "My bad bro. " he walks away.
Kai sighs in relief. "Where is cora?" She finally speaks.
I know if Cora was here , Kai wouldn't be attached to me. She's only staying by me cause im the only one here that she's somewhat comfortable with.
"Upstairs with Sammy." Skate says in amusement .
She just nods. Someone passes her a drink but she denies it.
"Are you okay?" I ask her over the loud music. She just nods, again.
"Lets go out back." I pull her to the back, realizing that I still had a hold of her wrist.
The back yard is crowded but not as much as it is inside.
As we're walking to the bench, a drunk girl stumbles and falls into Kai . She turns around, looking as if she's going to say something smart. But Kai sends a deathly glare at her. The girl scurries away. With all of her tattoos covered up, she looks innocent. The girl probably thought she wouldn't say anything. She didn't have too.
She looks out into the yard with an aggravated look plastered on her face as we sit down.
"You don't drink?" I ask her, remembering her denying a drink when we were in the kitchen.
She shakes her head. "No."
Her foot bounces up down rapidly . She looks pissed and out of place at the same time. "You don't have to baby sit me."
