Chap 01.

Third P.O.V

"when we're young, we're taught the distinction between a hero and a villain, good and evil, a savior and a lost cause. but what if the only real difference is just who's telling the story? our names are Emery and Hope Mikaelson. we come from the long line of villains in the stories you've heard about vampires, werewolves, witches and everything in between. the school behind these gates protect the secrets of people like us. and tonight, under the light of the full moon, we will be opening our doors to someone new."

"nice intro." MG said making Emery giggle as Hope just shakes her head at the obsessed boy.

the screen lights up to Emery in her room. she was walking around packing a bag. she grabbed her shoes putting them on with slowness, a knock was heard on her door. "come in." she said as she stood up. "what do you want?" she asked not looking up from the paper she was writing on. when she didn't hear anything she huffs and looks up at her older sister. "what is it?" Hope then looked at her. "are you going somewhere?" her voice small making Emery look at her closer. "away from you." she paused as she folded up the paper. "if you don't hurry with what you want." she snapped.

Hope rolled her eyes. "Alaric got a message from Caroline saying a wolf is supposed to have his first transformation today." Hope said as Emery looked at her. "and?" she asked tone bored and her face just held nothing making Hope sigh. "do you want to join or do you have plans?" Emery looked at her life she was stupid. "Hope, i'd rather stick a dagger in my heart than be in a car with you more than i have too." she said and something went in her sisters face but vanished as she nods. "well where are you going?" she asked and Emery gave her a sigh.

"MG and I are going camping tonight, something about being one with nature." she snorts. "like i'm not already doing that." she muttered with a tone. "be safe out there." Hope said looking at her sister again and the girl just nods picking up her bag and walking past her. "seems like she still hates you." a voice said to Hope making her turn. "seems reasonable." Hope glared at the girl. "do you ever stop talking Saltzman?" she asked tone irritated. "i do, but i just can't help it. it's funny watching you try to get along with her, just for you to fuck up, apologize and surprise surprise, fuck up again." Lizzie laughed out. "i feel for you." she said with a smirk and walks off.

"Lizzie." Josie said making the girl shrug as Emery laughs. "you are mean Ellie." she said as the girl just shrugs again. "did i lie? because honestly everyone watched Hope fail to be a good sister." she said and she heard a few growls but she just shrugged again. "says you, you walked over Josie for years." Kaleb said. "but in the end i turned out to be a good sister. unlike her." she dragged the last part out making Josie look at her, Hope glare and Emery smile.

"lets face it." Emery said pausing and smirks. "you're both shitty sisters." she said as she picked at her nail looking up giving the two a smirk. "the shittiest." Josie said making Emery smile. "you Josette Saltzman never seem to not amaze me every time i hear that innocent little mouth curse." she said making Josie smile. "thank you." a cheeky smile on her face making Emery coo.

Hope huffs and walks to Alaric's office with a look on her face. "Emery has plans so let's go." she said making the man nod grabbing his keys. Emery walked into the boys hall, ignoring all the noise as she banged on MG and Kaleb's door. "come on MG." she said opening the door walking in ignoring the fact that MG was shirtless looking at shirts. "how is it you planned this and you haven't even packed?" she asked grabbing a bag from his closet. she walked over to his dresser grabbing shirts and pants packing them.

MG looks at her curious. "yellow or red?" she looks at him then at his pants. "first of all change into some shorts, it's supposed to be hot tonight and two dark blue, trying to be one with nature." she joked out making him lightly push her with a laugh. "the red." she said and he nods grabbing the shorts she was handing him. she also ignored the fact he was changing in front of her. it's not like she hadn't seen people in their underwear due to transformation. she also didn't even care to look at her best friends body, he also didn't seem to care, this wasn't the first time she'd seen him like this so why care? she turns as he pulled his shorts up. "wear the red vans." she then throws his shirt at him.

"and we have to hurry before they lock the doors." he nods shuffling around the room for the snacks and drinks.

Hope got out the car and walked to the door but stopping as she seen a familiar boy. "Landon?" Hope asked once she spotted the boy, he looked up and gaped. "Hope?" she smiles. "doors are locked." she walked over to Alaric and muttered a spell and Landon gasped as the door flew open. "you might wanna say out here, trust me." she said walking in. he ignored her warning walking in anyways just in tome to see his brother moan out in pain. "what's happening to me?" Rafael asked. he sounded scared and worried. "Just let it happen." Hope said making him look at her. "the longer you hold it off the more it will hurt." she said softly getting a bolt on.

Klaus and Hayley frowned. how did she know that?

Alaric with the help of Hope get the last bolt on just as a black wolf snaps his teeth at them. Alaric smiled in praise as Hope smiled in admiration while Landon looked like he was going to pass out. "good job." Hope said and the wolf growled.

"MG?" Emery asked as she sat down. "yes." he responded distracted. "do you ever wish you were young again." she said, she didn't ask him because she never really meant it as a question just a thought. "sometimes, my dad and i were really close till i died." he said the last part with a tone making Emery frown. "you?" he asked taking the attention from him. "no." she said and paused and lightly screeched as her leg broke. "i only wished to go back to when i broke this stupid thing." she said panting as she fell to the ground.

"it means you're growing." he said and she smiled at him. MG always knew how to make her feel better. "move." she said and he stepped back a few steps. he never really left the girl. "i hate feeling this." she said and he nods. "it's better to do it now than to wait another month." she huffs and takes a breath as her spine broke making MG make a face hearing her bones break. "it hurts." she cried out and he takes a step closer to her making her groan backing up. "you got this Em." he said voice soft and she growls as her teeth grew and her eyes flew open. they were purple with a hint of silver to them. MG then steps back with a smile as a big brown wolf was in front of him growling. "don't growl at me." he said jumping at it making it bark and he jumped.

"My bad." he joked out and sat down on a log, the wolf walked towards him and licked his face. he groans and ripped his cheek. "dude, your tongue is hot and wet." when he looked close he seen the smile on the wolf. "go and run. i'll give you three hours until we sleep, it's already late." he mutters and the wolf howls and runs off making him shake his head with a smile.

Hayley frowned, both her daughters broke their curse. how and when did this happen. she wondered out. "i never knew your eyes were purple." Landon said and she shrugs. "things are different when you are an abomination to nature." she laughs out as her parents and family looked at her in worry. "i told you to stop fucking saying that." Lizzie snaps at her. Emery looks at her. "sorry, let me rephrase that. things are different when you aren't supposed to exist." just then her armed burned. she winced yet laughed as she seen the look on the twins faces. "i'm sorry i had too." she laughs.

"shut up." Lizzie said in a tone making Emery frown. "don't be mad Ellie." Lizzie just shook her head. "Emery." her father said making her shrug. "it's just the truth." she then turned back to the screen.
