The situation didn't look too good. 2 Illyrians and a high lord. There would be no way out of this, unless Blaze gave a signal to fight. But even in his panther form he wouldn't stand a chance against all three of them. But he could buy enough time for Ajax and Blaze to get the fuck away. He knew that Blaze and Ajax were just capable to fight as he was, but in his panther form he would be able to do much more damage.

"And who are you three?" Rhysand asked us, "we were just walking pass" answered Blaze with an even voice. Rhysand looked at them intensely, and Ivar made sure to have his mental shield up, in case he was trying to get in their mind. The two Illyrians were keeping a good eye on Ivar, probably already figured out that he would be the biggest threat. "How did you get through the wards?" Rhysand asked.

Ivar could feel Blaze looking at him, but he kept his attention on the two warriors. "We mean no harm" Blaze said, sounding not so believable. One of the Illyrians, the one with long hair, took a step to the side, as if to circle them in. Ivar growled showing the long fangs, and planted his feet ready to jump. "I'm sure you don't" Rhysad said, eyes going distant.

The long haired Illyrian made his move, and sprang forward. Ivar thought fast, stepping to the side so the warrior's sword met air. Ivar slipped behind the warrior, to jump on his back. But the big warrior proved to be fast and turned around just as Ivar jumped, but he wasn't fast enough to bring his sword up luckily. Ivar's teeth and claws met flesh, and the warrior let out a pained grunt. But before he could do any lethal damage to the warrior. Sharp pain came though his back hind leg.

Ivar had been so focused on the long haired Illyrian that he forgot the other one, and the punishment was a deep cut to his left leg. He growled and jumped off the male and away from the two, turning around in the air, to land softly on his paws. Still able to use the wounded hind leg. He scanned the clearing quickly, and there was no sign of Blaze and Ajax, only the high lord which stood a few feet away.

Good, that meant they made it away, but they still needed time, and he wasn't the only one noticing what was missing now. They all were too distracted by the fight, and Ivar was going to keep on distracting them. Instead of attacking the two warriors that clearly knew how to wield a sword. He made a move that would most likely make people think him crazy, but it would be a good distraction.

Ivar didn't think twice before he jumped again. Not at the warriors but at the most powerful high lord in Prythians history. He didn't want to harm the male too badly since it was his sister's mate, but he wouldn't let them get to Blaze and Ajax either.

Instead of going for the neck that he had a clear shot at, he went for the wings. Ivar knew that Illyrians' wings are known to be very sensitive. As he jumped his claws connected to the high lord's wings, a strangled scream could be heard from the male, and two roars from the Illyrian warriors. Ivar was fast at bringing his claws though the wings' flesh, and clawed down, Rhysand was on his knees in an instant. And Ivar felt a little pity for the male at that moment.

Before the warriors had made it all the way over to Ivar, he made it to jump away from the high lord, now on his knees. He could feel the power inside Rhysand beginning to rise, now that he had angered him. Powers that could kill him in the blink of an eye. So Ivar turned on his paws and ran as fast as he could into the forest, before the high lord could mist him, or melt his mind.

He saw out of the corner of his eye that the long haired warrior was kneeling in front of the high lord, and the other warrior, running after Ivar. If Ivar could just make it a little further away from the Illyrian he would be able to safely shift into a hawk or raven, but the male behind him was fast, and he too had wings! And he didn't stand a chance against the male, now that the wound in his leg was beginning to slow him down.

Pain ran through his whole body, when a sharp dagger was buried deep in the side of his stomach. He led out a loud roar, as the warrior tackled him to the ground. Ivar was trying to get up again but the pain was slowing his moments. And before he could rise from the ground, the Illyrian male held a dagger to his throat. "Move and I will cut out your throat" growled the Illyrian male behind him, sounding a bit angry. So Ivar didn't move an inch.

Ivars breathing was turning raspy from the pain, and the blood he was losing from the wound. Even if he tried now, he wouldn't be able to shift into another form. And suddenly the male holding the dagger to his throat, pushed it up closer to him. Ivar listened to see if he could hear why the male had reacted, and he could just make out the sound of footsteps coming from behind them. The long haired warrior with the high lord, now looking pissed, came in sight in front of Ivar.

"Take him with you" the high lord hissed the words out to the male behind Ivar. The high lord's posture showed that he did a good job injuring him, his wings were hanging low and his breathing was just as bad as Ivars. "We will need to have a little chat with you" said Rhysand, now talking to Ivar. But before Ivar could so much as growl back in return, the world went black.
