Ivar was standing in front of Zene, and was thinking over what to answer. Well he was thinking until Zene slapped his hand down on the table in the middle of the room. "The night court is known to have the most powerful high lord and high lady, the night court has hidden a city for centuries and was discovered during the war with Hybern. The night court is to be believed to be the cruelest place in all of Prythian." Ivar said, thankful that his voice didn't break.
"That is somewhat correct" Ivar looked to the side toward a doorway to see the high lord of spring. "So this is Ivar, The Mors Astra?" Tamlin, asked Zene. And Ivar felt uncomfortable that Tamlin knew of the gods' forsaken name. "Indeed it is. Ivar this is Tamlin as you know, and he wanted to know if it was true that you can shift to whatever you want." Zene told Ivar. "So give him a good show of your panther, will you" It wasn't a question but a command, so Ivar lowered his head to confirm that he would.
He felt the eyes of Tamlin staring him down, and he may have stared back if Zene hadn't been here. Ivar hurried as fast as he could and shifted, his body was consumed by a light shine for 2 seconds. When the light was gone so was his fae form, and back stood a large black panther.
Ivar looked at Tamlin whose face was now wearing a cruel little smile, but his eyes were filled with concern, and Ivar didn't believe that the concern was for him, he wouldn't dare to attack Tamlin. So why that look? "See the rumors are true, do we have a deal now?" Zene said, seeming pleased and in a hurry himself.
What deal? Maybe whatever deal Tamlin was agreeing to was the curse of the concern. Tamlin all but nodded and said "You got yourself a deal" And then he turned to walk out the room. What was that about?!
"Shift" Came a harsh command from Zene, now that Tamlin was gone so was all the nice manners from Zene, His voice went from smooth to rusty once again. And Ivar shifted. When he was fully back in his fae form, he didn't dare to look Zene in the eyes. "You did so very good" Said Zene trying to sound like he meant it. Zene moved closer, and Ivar went stiff, afraid if he moved he would be in for a punishment.
He almost flinched when Zene hand took hold of his neck, he didn't tighten nor pull at him. Ivar was still staring at the ground, when Zene moved his face closer to Ivar's and dragged his nose over the side of Ivar's neck. Ivar did all he could to not shake or show any emotions.
"You have made me very happy, Ivar. '' He could feel Zene's breath on his neck when he spoke, and Ivar swore he was going to vomit. "I would like to repay the favor." Zene said, whispering directly in Ivar's ear, that was when Ivar smelled Zene arousal. Ivar felt like crying, like curling up in a small ball deep under the ground and never come up again. Not again.. please.. not again.
"Please." Ivar said, feeling like he was going to collapse at any moment. Ivar knew it would be useless to beg, but his body was slowly going in panic, and he felt like that 14 teen year old child that had just arrived at the assassin's keep. When Zene had shown him how cruel he truly could be.
Ivar felt Zene tighten his grip on Ivar's neck. and brought face so close to Zene that their noses almost touched. Ivar couldn't help himself, and lifted his eyes to Zene, and by the mother wished he hadn't. Zene was smiling, enjoying the effect he had on Ivar.
"It's been so long since we had our fun, I think you own me a whole night." At this Ivar's hand began to shake, but not so much that any untrained would have noticed. Ivar lowered his eyes to the floor once again, praying to all the forgotten gods was with him, as Zene took Ivar by the arm and dragged him from the room.
