I blink my eyes against the morning sun as I wake up. My mind wanders back over last night and I smile sleepily. I get up and wander through to the bathroom. I love Saturday mornings. You can do everything at your own pace. I look in the mirror. My bruise is gone, thank goodness.

I walk into the kitchen to find Luke drinking a glass of orange juice. I kiss his cheek.

"Morning beautiful," He says smiling. "Did you sleep well?"

"Yeah. Thank you for singing to me last night."

I reach into the fridge and take out some bacon and eggs to cook. I find a frypan and place the food in it.

"Are you sure you should be consuming that many calories?" Luke asks. Ouch.

"I mean, your not really the skinniest person, but I still love you."

My eyes brim with tears, luckily I'm facing away from Luke. Did he just call me fat?

I finish frying the food and place it neatly on a plate with some toast. "You can eat it if you want?" I say to him, not really having an appetite anymore.

"Aww, thanks babe!" He kisses my cheek. I go sit down in the lounge where Jai's watching something on tv.

"What's up?" Jai asks, noticing my vacant expression.

"Nothing," I say blankly, no expression present in my voice.

"What did Luke do this time?" Jai sighs.

"Nothing," I say in the same tone as before. I get up and walk to the bedroom. I look at myself in the full length mirror. I lift my shirt. For the first time, I'm not happy with what I see. My stomach isn't flat, my thighs jiggle slightly. No wonder Luke thinks I'm fat. I should lose weight.

It's around three o'clock and I decide to go for a run. This will help me lose some weight. Maybe this is why Luke hurts me sometimes? Because he is so disgusted by my weight?

I run and run until I can't run any more and I almost pass out. I'm almost back at the house anyway so I decide to walk the rest. My stomach growls. I just drink some water and sit down on the couch, puffing.

Gina comes into the lounge. "Hey Soph," She smiles at me.

"Hi Gina," I puff.

"I was going to ask you if you could walk to the shops for me but it seems you're a bit tired..."

"No it's fine. I can do it," I tell her.

"Fantastic. There's a list of a few items I need to make dinner," She says. I get up and grab the list and the money and head out the door.

*Luke's POV*

"Have you seen Sophie anywhere?" Mum asks me, a concerned look etched on her face.

"Not for a while, why?"

"I sent her to get some things for dinner an hour ago and she hasn't come back yet."

"I'll give her a call," I tell her.

I take my iPhone out of my pocket and call Sophie. She doesn't answer. I decide that I should go find her. I walk out the door and follow the usual route to the shops. I'm about halfway along when I spot someone lying on the ground. As I approach I realise who it is.

"Sophie!" I say as I run to her. I shake her but she's out cold. Taking the bag she's holding in my right hand, I pick her up, carrying her on my back.

I place her down on the bed at home.

"Where was she?" Jai asks, leaning on the door frame.

"In the street. Anyone could've done anything to her. She's completely knocked out!' I say.

"I wonder what happened to her," Jai says. "She seemed pretty down after breakfast." Then he leaves. What does he mean 'down'? She seemed fine to me.

*Sophie's POV*

I wake up in my bed. Wait a minute! I thought I had to buy food for Gina... Maybe it was a dream? Wow my head hurts. I get up to go get some medicine from the kitchen.

"Hey there Sleeping Beauty!" Beau calls from the dinner table. I shoot him a confused look.

"Gina, did you ask me to get things from the shop?" I ask.

"Yes, but Luke says he found you passed out on the way back. He carried you back here," She says.

I blush. "Sorry Luke." I hope I wasn't too heavy for him.

"No problem. I'm just glad you're not hurt," Luke tells me. "But do you know why you passed out?"

"Umm.. I was feeling really tired when I left the house. I remember paying for the food and leaving the shop... The rest I don't remember." I lie. I know exactly why I passed out. I was exhausted and starving. All because I'm not good enough for Luke.

"Come sit down. Eat something," Gina says, pointing to the plate of food on the table. I eat about half of it, put the rest in the fridge and excuse myself.

I go to the bathroom, lean over the toilet and stick my fingers down my throat. Everything I just ate comes back up and I feel so much better, less guilty about eating.

If this is what I have to do to be perfect for Luke, so be it.
