Chapter 9

Thirteen days.

I have thirteen days to find the best gift ever. So I'm skipping school again today. It's Friday anyway and I don't have any important classes.

For Luke's gift, I want something that shows him that I'm 100% his. I want to give him my heart, body and soul. But how?

*Luke's POV*

I watch my beautiful girlfriend stare blankly out the window, holding her mug of coffee. My eyes flick over to the clock on the wall.

"Why aren't you going to school babe?" I ask her. She seems startled as I break her daydreamy state.

"What?" she asks.

"School. Why aren't you going?" I repeat.

She looks back out the window.

"I don't feel very well."

"Is there anything I can do?" I offer. She shakes her head. I stand behind her and put my hands on her shoulders. I bend down and kiss the top of her head. She tilts her head back and looks up at me. I gently kiss her lips.

"Get a room," Jai smirks, walking through the room.

Sophie chuckles.

*Sophie's POV*

"Get a room," Jai smirks.

I chuckle. Wouldn't that be great? It would just be us.

Oh my gosh I've just had a brilliant idea.

"Thanks Jai," I say, getting up and pecking him on the cheek. I grab some shoes and quickly exit the house leaving Luke very confused.

I know what to get him. I'm going to get us our own flat. It will be perfect and we will just have each other and I'm a genius. I'm going down to the local real estate. I'll grab some brochures and get a bit of an idea of what's around and then I'll get Gina to help me get it.

He's going to love it, I can tell.
