It's Monday morning and I am getting ready for school. I skip breakfast, packing some salad for lunch.

"Morning beautiful," Luke says, kissing my cheek.

"Good morning," I smile. I finish getting ready and peck him on the lips before heading out the door.

In science and English, we are told to pair up for our assignments. Naturally, I choose Bridgette for science and James for English. I arrange to meet up at their houses, Bridgette on Tuesdays and Thursdays and James on Wednesdays and Saturday afternoons.

"What's with the rabbit food?" Bridgette asks me, gesturing towards my garden salad.

"I'm just eating healthy, that's all," I tell her. I smile, but inside I am envious as I watch her chew her chicken schnitzel sandwich.

The bell rings to signal the end of lunch. We both sigh and walk lazily to class.

I get off the bus and start to walk home. I open the front door and go to the bathroom. I hate periods. And I hate Mondays. So isn't it just a lovely coincidence that I got my period on a Monday?

I walk into the kitchen and grab myself a drink of water. I feel strong arms wrap around my waist and Luke's hot breath in my ear. "Hello beautiful," he whispers, sending shivers down my whole body. I feel his lips press to the side of my neck.

"Not now, Luke," I say to him.

He groans. I turn and kiss him on the lips. "Sorry."

I go lay on the couch, switching on the tv. I rub my stomach. Wow I'm hungry. I could eat a horse!

Gina serves up a delicious looking, smelling and tasting dinner. I ate some of it, put the rest in the fridge, and purged everything I ate.

I step onto the scales. I'm a whole two kilograms lighter than yesterday. I'm now only eight kilos away from my goal.

I lie in bed and try to sleep. It's hard. All I can think about is how disgustingly overweight I am. I just want Luke to love me.

It's now Tuesday afternoon and I am at Bridgette's house. We are supposed to be doing our assignment but instead we're lazing around in Bridgette's room listening to One Direction.

"Have any ideas for the assignment?" Bridgette asks.

"Nope," I answer. "What about you?"

"Nope. Nothing."

We both laugh and start to make jokes about what the teacher would say right now.

I decide it's time to go home. I grab my bag and say goodbye to Bridgette. I walk home in silence, scuffing my feet along the ground occasionally.

I enter my room and place my bag on the floor. Luke is lying on the bed, staring at the screen of his phone.

"Oh, where have you been?" He asks, realising I just got home.

Luke doesn't like it when I hang out with Bridgette. They have a mutual hate of each other. Plus Luke seems more interested in his phone than my answer at the moment. So I shrug off his question with a quick "Nowhere."

*Luke's POV*

Nowhere? What's that supposed to mean? What is she hiding?

I switch off my phone and roll over and fall asleep.

I yawn as I stretch, still tired. Sophie's always up before me. I get up and walk into the kitchen. Sophie is making herself a salad.

"Morning," I say to her. She turns around to see me. She puts on a smile before returning to chopping lettuce.
