"Give me my bag, Olly"
I was screaming running after her, she was fast!

I was so worried about my bag as Olly likes to leave traces of her paws on everything she touches.

"Hey...my cute cat, here...hand me my bag"
I gently grabbed the strap of my expensive sling bag which Olly was treating like a toy.

She gave me a look and was all set to run away but I wrapped my hand around her waist and gently removed the strap from her mouth...

"Ahhhh, finally!"

I looked at her,
" Don't give me that look, you don't know that today I can't be late, It's the first day of my first project and I'm so nervous !"

I sat on the couch and made Olly sit on my lap...
"Wish me luck Olly, today will be going to be a tough day!"

I cupped her face, "I wish I could escape from all this and run away but I can't do that right?"
She meowed in a very serious tone as if she was concerned about me...

"Amish, Your breakfast is ready !"
My mother called me in an exciting tone...

I stepped towards the dining hall, and Olly followed me.

I saw my father sitting on the chair...
"What's with that face?"
I asked as I noticed him shooting a weird smile at me...
He pulled a chair for me to sit on...
"Weirder!"
My mother served me breakfast...
"toast, pasta, Soup, and Capacchino!"

"Why you both are acting so weird all of a sudden?"
My father again smiled at me and said,
"It's the first day of your work, our daughter!"

"We are so proud of you!" my mother said patting me with teary eyes.
Father was also about to cry!

"Mom and Dad, Please don't show me your tears, I hate to see them," I said taking a huge bite of the toast.

They smiled...
"Aren't you both worried that what if I spoil something today?"

"We believe in you, you'll rock today" my mother replied.

"I wish!"
I pulled a bowl of soup close to me and started slurping it...

*No, I won't let them know that I'm so anxious right now.
Just even a thought of going there and facing everyone, FACING HIM is making my heart beat so fast!*

I was thinking about every probability of my work getting ruined...

My phone rang,
I looked at the screen...
"lecture time!"

"Good Morning, Amish"

"Good Morning"

"All set to rock?"

"Do you think, I'm going to rock today, Carol?" I scoffed...

"Hey, Knock it off...You'll rock it!" she stated...

"I don't know!" I sighed...

"I've been visiting the place to check the work of my subordinates but I don't know why I'm feeling this way today!" I added in a soft tone...

"It's because today is the main day, Amish...today is the shoot day!"

"I know, of course, I know!
But I'm terrified of him"
I said...

"Listen, I understand why you are so pressurized, surely he is not an easy person to deal with but It'll be fine, Don't you know how professional you are?" she said.

"Go on and we will pick you up In the evening, okay?" she added.

"Yeah!"

"Okay, so Take care, and best of luck!"

"Thanks, bye!" I hung up...

My friends were so excited to come to the place as they all were dying to meet this man, Ian Evans who is very popular.
He Is known for his good looks and his successful shoe business. With his optimistic personality, he achieved global-level success at a very young age!
He is already a billionaire!

My girls were all set to drool over him that day as he was going to be there for his product launch and also would be shooting a promotional video.

His manager hired me for the whole project- to look after everything.

When I got an offer for this project, my friends made me accept it because of Ian.
They told me to feel lucky to see him, talk to him and maybe to touch him!

Honestly, I don't feel this for him.
I like him but am not attracted to him in any way.

The reason I was feeling pressured for having this project with him is that he is also known for his cold and rude personality.
He is always in the headlines of the news for roasting someone for their work or some other reason.
He likes everything well organized and done professionally without even a single mistake.
His way of judging things depends upon the standards which he sets!

This is why, I wanted to deny this offer but my friends pushed me to accept it.
They know that all I need is a little push and then I'm going to take the opportunity and accept the challenge!

I know I do best in everything I make my mind up to and I also like my work to stand out but I was afraid at that time!
Thinking about him and his judgment was making me anxious!

"Oh, I have no other option but to go there and try my best to prevent any disaster!"

I looked at the clock, It was 7 A.M. already.
"huh," I sighed and rushed upstairs, toward my room to get my car keys as I needed to reach the place by 9 A.M.

When I came down, carrying my sling bag, my laptop, Car keys, and my fake confident smile...I saw my parents standing at the main door.

"Best of luck Amish", My father came forward to hug me...
I handed my bags to my mother and hugged him back with my eyes closed...
"Wish for me, Dad"

"My daughter, may you return with a wide, bright smile, with exciting incidents, and a joyful experience!"

*No one can match this comfort, that I get in my father's arms, Certainly my powerhouse!*

"Recharged?" my mother asked with a smiling face...

I approached her and hugged her tightly..."Don't worry, I'll be fine now"

"Sure!" she replied...

I took my belongings and stepped towards my car...

Olly walked me to the car.

I planted a kiss on her cheek and went away...
