Chapter: 12

I was reading the article again and again while thinking about how my life was going to change into something I dreamed of and how it turned into one I never even thought about!

" How am I going to face the world? I can't even call Samuel to say that I would not be able to work for Vermögen!"

"What am I saying, why would they even hire me now!"

"Considering Ian's way of thinking, he must be very angry and must be regretting helping me back then!"

I opened the post again and suddenly it disappeared!

"What?" I stood up.

I refreshed the page again and again and wasn't able to find it.

"So they made it removed from the Internet!"
It was a relief.

"It means the company also suffered from that trashy post!"

But working for Vermögen

"I brought snacks!" He said while showing me a bag full of cokes and snacks.

"You cannot control us!" Carol stood up.
And then everyone stood up.

It felt good to have them standing in my support.

"Will you keep standing like that? You're scaring me!" Aaron said while pushing me toward the drawing room with a fake laugh.

"I'm glad that the post has been removed!" Cindy said hugging me.

I held her tightly with my eyes closed!

"Thanks for coming!"

"We know that you push us when you need us the most!"
Carol said while making me sit on the couch.

I looked at my parents, they looked relieved!

"I think, now we should not worry about you! Your friends are here!" my mother smiled.

"We should let them spend their time!" my father stood up.

They both went to their room!

We spent some time watching movies while having our snacks!
I wasn't able to forget what happened but was trying my best to hide my despair....

After the movies, Aaron went off to his house as he had an important event at his work.

I was feeling bad for him as he would not be able to get some sleep!

After he left,
I, Carol, and Cindy went to my room to get some sleep!
Carol had to sleep on the floor because Olly was our third bed member.
Carol is scared of Olly! So, she made Cindy sleep next to her!

We woke up at 1 P.M.,
Had our brunch at my house and then left for Jingle Bells.

Like me, Both Carol and Cindy are bookworms.
The only way to forget about that post and the damage it caused was to escape it through books!

In the books, I find my world enlarging with each word I read!
The emotional roller coaster has me riding throughout!

Yes, I hide in the books!

Aaron arrived whistling at the cafe in the evening and went straight to order his food.

He was wearing a chain on his neck!

"Look how sexy the chain is looking around his neck! Ah, perfect with those broad shoulders!" Cindy couldn't hold it back!

I and Carol exchanged looks!

"What? What? What?" we teased her chuckling.

"Oh, it slipped! That's right! I'm into him!" she said while chewing pizza.

Cindy is always this straight and bold.

"Does he know?" Carol poked her shoulder!

"Nope!"

"Hey cut it all, Tell me how am I looking?"

"You always look so cool!" I showed her thumbs up with a proud look on my face!

"Not Cool! I need to look sexy as he is!" she said while pulling her top down for cleavage.

"How's this?"

"Sexiest!" Carol approved!

I just smiled!

I feel a little uncomfortable when people make someone like him or her using their appearances! I think it should happen naturally!
And I'm not into such things as showing breasts and pretending to be sexy!
I'm a simple girl who wants a simple life and that's it!

Cindy is always so well-maintained! Sometimes
she wears revealing dresses. which is okay! She's just different!
I'm not against her or something!
I even didn't mind her attempt to attract Aaron!

"Tea or Coffee?" Aaron lowered his neck to my ear as he asked while standing.

"Tea!" I smiled...

"Okay!" he returned to place order.

"Why didn't he ask us!" Carol frowned in confusion.

"Hey, trying to save money?" Carol asked him out loud...

Everyone started looking at him...

"Why do you only ask her?" she continued....

"What are you doing?" Aaron came shushing her.

I started laughing at how courageous Carol was! One must learn from her!

She is always so brave to express what she has in her mind! Our clumsy Carol is very dangerous to mess with!

"I ordered coffee for you both, you dumb head! Amish is picky, this is why I came to ask her what she would want! I knew about you both!" Aaron said gritting his teeth.

"Oh sorry!" Carol said ruffling his hair.

I covered my face with the book I was reading as I was laughing hard!

Cindy was about to say something and then we all heard a farting sound!

"umhmm!" Aaron covered his nose and so did we!

" Hey, Cindy! What are you doing?" he said like he was out of breath!

"It wasn't me! It wasn't me! " she stood up in embarrassment.

"This is why, you were sitting in the corner!" Carol said to tease her!

Cindy looked at me to save her!

And I held my belly as I wasn't able to control my laugh!

Both Aaron and Carol started laughing too and Cindy sat while looking outside the window!

"Ma'am your tea!" the waiter served my tea...

He was smiling at us as we were laughing like a fool!

Everyone was looking at us!
But we didn't care!

At that time, I threw out all the sadness and guilt from my heart!

*I'm blessed with the best!* was all I could think.
