Macon, Sweet, Sweet, Macon (A New Day Part 6)

After Hershal kicked us out. (Y/N), Clementine, and I all pilled into Kenny's truck with his family and set off towards Macon. It was about a day and a half drive of silence. I mean what were we supposed to talk about? We all witnessed a man die right before our eyes, nothing could change the tone of the situation we were all in. I only hope that Hershal will be okay since it appeared all he had was his son.

Before we knew it, we all had arrived in Macon. Besides a few roads being blocked off with abandon cars as well as make shift walls, not much has changed since I was last here. Well besides the lack of people walking around, and the walkers. Unfortunately our luck was beginning to turn and Kennys truck broke down in the middle of the street.

"Welp, this is as far as were going." Kenny said looking around the area.

"Then its far enough." I said getting out of the truck.

I helped the girls get out of the truck as everyone piled out, then we all started walking down the street. For what? I don't know. A sign? Some good fortune hopefully. We eventually came upon my family's pharmacy. While Kenny, Katja, and Duck looked around the area. Clementine, (Y/N) and I started looking at the pharmisutical building, maybe even a way in.

"Look!" Duck called out pointing to what appeared to be a person walking down the street.

"Hey there! You friendly? Trucks out of gas." Kenny called out to the mysterious person.

As if the universe had it out for us. That wasn't a person. It was infact a walker eating what was a former person and we have attracted him to its next meal. As the walker started coming towards us, a heard just so happened to follow in its footsteps.

"Were trapped!" Katja said as the herd grew closer towards us.

"Aaaah!" Duck called.

I turned and saw a walker pinning the poor boy to the pavement. Before I could do anything a gunshot went off and the walker went down for the count. We all looked over and saw this young woman with a loaded hand gun firing at the herd.

"Come on!" A man called from behind us. Beckoning for us to come inside the pharmacy.

None of us had to be told twice before we all booked it inside the building.

"We cant take risks like this!" A nasily womans voice said as the man from before barred the door.

"And we can let people die either!" The woman who saved us said in rebuttle.

"When I say "that door stays shut no matter what" I fucking MEAN it. We dont know who these people are. They could be dangerous."

"Worse, they could of lead them to us!" A crotchy old man spoke up.

"We have kids with us." I said trying to plead with these people.

"I see two little girls." Said the old man.

Before I could say anything. (Y/N) tugged on my arm for my attention.

"What is it." I said slightly getting short with her.

"I...I have to pee." She said with pleading eyes.

"In a minute, (nickname)" I said trying to focus on reasoning with these people.

"Theyve got kids Lily." The man from before said to the nasily woman.

"Those things outside dont care." Lily said with no remorse.

"Maybe you should go join them." Kenny said getting riled up.

"God damn it Lily." The old man said. "You have to control these people."
