wooyoung bid his farewell to keonhee as he exited the room, closing the door behind him. the room became coated in thick silence and the boy waited for the lights to turn off, signaling bedtime.

after a few moments of nothingness, the lights shut off and wooyoung's room was submerged into darkness. a sigh kissed his lips, knowing that he had to sleep one way or another.

becoming comfortable in his bed, his head rested on the pillow, his hands laying limply on his chest. he remained silent and still, just staring into the darkness with soft eyes.

- hey, psst! -

wooyoung blinked lightly, slowly sitting up. his eyes were much more open now, though it seemed to be nothing new to him as he stood up. wooyoung walked around the room, using the wall to locate, finally reaching the mini night light in the far side of his room. crouching down, he pushed out the disorented whispers and clicked the night light off, now submerging the room in complete darkness.

now relying on his memory, the tired boy trudged to his bed, gently laying down as he pulled the covers up and over his head. he sat in a pathetic ball, hugging his knees close to his chest. his eyes fell close, but hot liquid soon filtered out through his eyelashes.

- it's safe, wooyoung. I promise, you don't have to hide from us. -

wooyoung just clutched his knees closer, his eyes becoming more tight than relaxed. a soft and stuttering breath fell from his half parted lips.

go to sleep, go to sleep, go to sleep, they can't get you.

wooyoung repeated over and over to himself, forcing himself to relax his muscles. his face fell from the tense figure and smoothed out, though there were still faint trace of tears.

his mind began to bury itself as he started to lose his senses. the quiet whispers just barely reached his ears and wooyoung slipped right into dreamland.

"you can't outrun me."

the same rabbit spoke in a stern voice, echoing throughout wooyoung's cluttered mind. his running steps faltered just the slightest, but that was all the rabbit needed. a fuzzy paw snatched him back and emitted a whine from wooyoung.

"please let me go, please, please."

wooyoung pleaded, trying to back up and away from the rabbit. he was only yanked more forcefully, causing wooyoung to stumble and lurch forward.

though when he hit the hard ground, the grass morphed around him and swallowed him, trapping him under the surface of the grass. wooyoung whipped around, his heart stopping when he saw his once lover.

"yuta!!"

wooyoung cried, forcing his feet forward. yuta smiled and backed into the shadows, away from wooyoung. the boy yelled out something inaudible, but the pain was clear in his voice. wooyoung's feet carried him to where yuta just had been, but it seemed he was too late.

a clean slice made wooyoung stop dead in his tracks. his blood froze and his knees gave up on him, causing him to call to the ground, his knees roughly hitting the ground.

he could hear the excited chitters and hoots of happiness from behind the shadows and it only pushed him further into his ball of anguish. he heard a high pitched voice rattle his ears, and it finat submerged him into pain.

"off with the head~ good, good. come along now."

-

"holy sh- sugar! you scared me!"
