Today was the day.

I hardly slept last night due to nervousness and excitement. I was confident but scared, and I started thinking of all the horrible things that could happen.

For example, what if I chicken out, or forget my words? What if I randomly trip on the air? Or what if I suddenly started speaking in another language that no one could understand?!

I was a nervous wreck and could barely get out of bed right now.

I managed to get up and did my usual morning routine with more spice. I picked out one of the outfits Violet brought for me, and put on some heels. I hate to admit it, but I looked pretty good for someone who was about to face their fears.

After I did my makeup, I took a deep breath and smiled at myself. I sent Violet a text letting her know I was heading out. I then grabbed my keys and closed the door behind me.

The building was enormous and taller on the inside. My anxiety got worse as I saw people walking around and continuing their day.

I made my way to the receptionist. I nervously introduced myself, and she smiled warmly. She showed me to a random room and told me the meeting would start soon. I took a deep breath and waited for the interview to begin.

I waited for like what felt like hours until I heard someone call my name. I stood up and walked out the door to find an interviewer waiting for me. She extended her hand and introduced herself.

I introduced myself to the woman and the man who looked extremely familiar. I sat down in one of the chairs and took a deep breath.

"Loriana Brown, right?" the man asked.

"Yes, sir that's me," I said looking up at him and making eye contact. Then it hit me, he was the mall guy. "What was he doing here?" I wondered.

"My name's Asher and this is my assistant Ruby. It's a pleasure to meet you Loriana." He said, smiling at me, still holding eye contact.

"We read your resume and you seem qualified for the job. If you still want to work here, you'll work beside me and help me with my clients.

Once I'm certain you're ready, you'll get promoted to working on your own time. Do you understand?" he asked, tilting his head slightly.

"I understand", I said, breaking eye contact. As long as I work alongside him, and learn the basics, it should be easy.

After the meeting was done, I thanked Ruby for showing me around. Once she left I turned around to see Asher leaning against the doorway and staring at me.

His eyes were intense, and I felt a chill run down my spine.

He wore a black and white suit and had blonde hair with brown streaks at the front. He also has some tattoos on his arms. His strong muscles poke out of the shirt. I was thinking of the sinful things this man could do to me
