I headed to where Violet was

I headed to where Violet was. One thing about Violet is that she has horrible trauma with anything involving blood, or guns. From what she told me, her family wasn't the most ideal, and stuff happened.

I walked up to her and once she saw me, she quickly ran and hugged me.

Tears streamed down her face as she whispered apologies between sobs. "I'm so sorry, Loriana. I didn't think something like this would ever happen. I should have known better." Violet said, overcome with guilt, and started blaming herself.

"Vi, it's okay, it's alright. You're fine and I'm fine, you didn't know this would happen so please don't blame yourself" I said hugging her.

"Is she alright Loriana?" Ashton asked, bringing two bottles of water.

"She's fine, and thank you for being with her while I was inside, I'm really thankful for that," I said grabbing the bottled water and handing it to Violet.

The sight of Violet sitting next to Ashton on the bench made me smile. They looked so cute sitting there and talking.

"Do you want me to drive you home?" Violet said looking up at me.

"It's alright, I'll take the evening bus, and I'll let you know when I arrive home". I said, waving goodbye to her and Ashton.

I walked out of the mansion and looked around the scene. There were so many officers and ambulances, it was such horrible scenery. I stepped out and closed the gate behind me and headed to the nearest bus stop.

I sat on the bench and looked at my phone, it was currently eleven P.M.

I looked for the bus schedule on my phone and the next bus arrives in about 30 minutes.

That's so freaking long, I should've brought my car along like Violet suggested. Now I'm going to be here for a good hour or less.

I looked around the city, it was beautiful. Australia is a beautiful place, I live in Sydney, I wasn't born here obviously, but I studied law school here and decided to stay here, and my parents later followed me and stayed an hour away from my home.

Sydney was a beautiful city, everything about it was beautiful. The people there weren't exactly beautiful themselves, but every place has its dark parts.

After what felt like years the bus finally pulled up next to me, and I got up and grabbed my stuff, and got on the bus.

I pulled out my card to show the bus driver and sat at the back. I looked around at the other passengers and noticed how tired and stressed they all seemed. Working is really tough, they all look like zombies, I would be scared for my life but instead, I sat there.

I grabbed my phone, opened Spotify, and browsed through my hundreds of playlists until I found something to listen to.

I put on some music and put my head back and closed my eyes. I slowly drifted off to sleep, the music providing comforting background noise. Tonight was one of those nights where you just feel numb and couldn't do much, I didn't feel lazy, but I did at the same time.
