Chapter 1

| it's been my first two weeks into pelican town. It was a sweet small town, and the people were lovely. As I walked into my farm, I noticed that I had ran out of cauliflower seeds. I sighed and went into my house to grab my wallet to buy more then went into town. It was a little windy out. My hat even almost flew away. I held it on my head as I walked in town.

"Morning Y/n!" Sam said as he was walking with Penny. Penny waved back to me and smiled warmly.

"Good morning you two. What're you up to?" I questioned them both.

"Oh, we're just watching Jas and Vincent. It's a nice day for them to play anyways." Penny said.

"It is. Besides this wind.."

I chuckled and held my hat making sure it wouldn't fly away.

"Heh.. You're not wrong. It's not even that bad but it still gonna bother us. Especially if you're wearing a hat.." I said as a sighed at the end.

"I guess that's true, but we won't keep you for too long now. Cya farmer!" He said as him and Penny and walked away with the kids.

"Bye Penny! Bye Sam!"

I stared at them walk away with each other. Even though they aren't dating. They both seem in love with each other.. I smiled warmly as they both walked away, then I made my way towards Pierre's to buy more seeds. But then I heard something in the wind. As I looked towards the direction where the bar was at. I saw a piece of paper blow in the wind. I tried grabbing it put it flew out of my hands, thankfully I finally caught the paper, but then my hat fell and started to blow away.

"Damnit.."

As I looked at the paper in my hands, the handwriting was very pretty, it was written in cursive. As I looked more into it I saw the person's name in the corner of the page.

"Elliott.." I said to myself.

"Excuse me, miss!"

As I looked towards the voice. I saw a tall slender man with long orangeish brown long hair. As he walked up to me I saw that he was also holing my hat that flew away. Even though I've been living here for two weeks already, I've never seen him around.

"My paper had flown away in the wind when I was writing.. have you seen it?" He questioned.

I looked at him then looked down at the paper. Then back up at him.

"Elliott.. is that you?"

He smiled softly and nodded his head.

"Yes. That's me, and I've also found this hat that seems to be taken by the wind too.. is it yours?"

I looked at the hat that he was holding and chuckled softly.

"Yeah! Seems like we both found things that belong to the both of us. Because of the wind.."

Elliott chuckled and handed me my hat back. Then I handed him his paper back in exchange. As I put my hat back on, the wind calmed down a little. His long hair was so beautiful. Along with his eyes, they were a dark emerald green.

"Well then, I'll be off miss.. Many thanks for your help." He said as he put the paper in his coat pocket.

"O-oh! No problem."

"But before we depart. I've never seen you around before. What's your name?" He asked.

"I'm Y/n. It's really nice to meet you Elliott." I said as I smiled at him softly.

He smiled softly and said,

"It was wonderful stumbling across paths with you too Y/n.."
