Elizabeth did not know how to compose herself. She was actually in front of Jareth the Goblin King! At a time like this, she had nothing to say. On top of it, the butterflies in her stomach kept circling inside her. His eyes, were the color of the ocean at high tide, beautiful but deadly.
"Umm...what is a kindergartner doing here, hmm," said the goblin king, turning around, looking at her.
"I am not a kindergartner," she said, looking at him sternly. Then he saw it. Jareth saw Sarah in this puny girl. But how was this possible?
"What is your name then," he asked her.
"I do not owe you anything," she told him, matter of fact.
"Oh really," he crossed his arms.
"Very well, I'm Elizabeth Sara von Wolcott, like it is of any importance to you," she said, giving him a look. There it was! It was Sarah's look from when he saw her last. He could not deny it. She looked just like her, only with wavy hair and it was auburn.
"Listen, the tour is over. Why don't you go back to school where you came from little girl," he said sharply, circling her like a shark.
"You don't scare me," she gave him a look.
"You do not belong here," the Goblin King said, still circling her. "So go home, little girl. Go back to your costumes and books," he added.
Elizabeth glared at him and there he saw it again. This girl looked just like Sarah, but "surely not," he thought to himself.
Then Elizabeth thought about going back to school and the amulet glowed bright purple. Jareth saw the necklace glow and his jaw dropped in reaction. All of a sudden, she appeared in front of the high school and heard the last bell before starting the first class of the day.
