Elizabeth's P.O.V.
The past two weeks had been a dream. Trevor and I had spent time together almost every day, and it felt like when we had first begun dating.
We went on dates and even got to be together in wolf form. It was risky, but we were being smart about it.
Without Henry around, I got to relax back into a regular routine without worrying about pranks or the other shoe dropping around every corner.
I looked at myself in the mirror and heaved a sigh. We had made plans for one more date night before Henry got back and became an annoyance.
I was in a cocktail dress, tossing my hair up so it wouldn't be in the way. I slid on some heels and checked myself out in the mirror.
"Look like a guy my ass," I scoffed as I rotated to give myself a full view. I ran my hand over my butt and smirked.
My door had been fixed since Henry had killed it a few weeks ago, and I pushed through it.
I walked downstairs to where Trevor was waiting. My eyes raked over his figure, and I grinned.
"Looking good," I chuckled as I descended the stairs, grabbing his attention.
He turned and his eyes looked over me just as selfishly as I had looked at him.
I skipped down the final few steps and jumped up into his arms.
He wrapped his arms around my waist, dipping me into a deep kiss.
Energy spurted into every corner of my being, and I grinned against his lips.
"You look phenomenal liz," he growled, "are you ready to go?"
I looked at his as his eyes were shifting colour back and forth, indicating his wolf was pushing for more control.
"I'm starving," I agreed, "Let's go,"
He escorted me out to the car, holding my hand as he drove.
His touch was warm, and I leaned into the chair with a sigh.
We enjoyed a relaxing silence until we got to the restaurant.
He opened the door to the car, and we stepped into the bustling space of the restaurant.
The waitress walked us to our table, and we slid into our chairs across from one another.
I looked at him, and he smiled at me, but I saw his face pinch slightly.
"What's the matter?" I asked.
"What? Nothing is the matter," he attempted to assure me.
"Trevor," I raised an eyebrow, "You can't lie to me,"
He sat in silence for a while, and I could practically hear his thoughts racing.
"Henry gets back tonight," He said, and I looked at him in confusion.
"Yeah? And?" I pushed.
"I just don't want to share you. I know I still have two weeks left, but he'll be around the pack house, and there's nothing I can do about that," he explained, and I chuckled.
"Sweet Trev," I rolled my eyes, "I love you, and you know it. I see Henry all the time, and I always have, but nothing has changed. We have our two weeks left together then I owe him a chance. I doubt anything could be better than this,"
He seemed to release a breath he had been holding and smiled.
"I know, I-," he began, but he broke off what he was saying suddenly.
