Persona 5: Beyond the Metaverse

New Contract

The Phantom Thieves were most known by changing the hearts of wicked people who drowned within sin, as well as the ones saving the masses from False Gods such as Yaldabaoth and the Demiurge. Since then, the team was disbanded as the Metaverse was gone without a trace. Some decided to move away to get their life on the right track, and some stayed to pursue their goals. 

Ren Amamiya, formerly and commonly known as the Leader of the Phantom Thieves, Joker, was inside of his newly bought house in Kuoh as he was just making coffee and curry in the morning. While using his lessons he was taught by Sojiro, a voice was heard by a cat that just jumped onto the table. 

Morgana: I see you still can't kick off the lessons from the chief, huh? Then again, nothing can make better curry and coffee like you and Sojiro. 

Ren: For once, you're also complimenting him aside from me? That's new of you, Morgana. 

Morgana: I like to freshen up to my early mornings. Can't exactly talk like an old person that tries to wake up. Anyway, are you also making fatty tuna?

Ren nods as he too was making tuna as it was Morgana's favorite food along with sushi. As he was cooking and brewing, a door opens and closes next to him as the person that walked in was a girl he met back in Shujin. The girl was Sumire Yoshizawa, formerly known as Violet of the Phantom Thieves. She's graduated from Shujin not too long ago and has won the Olympics' Championship in honor of her late sister, Kasumi. And to top it all off, she was also Ren's girlfriend. 

Sumire: Still cooking the same thing, Senpai?

Ren: Mhm... You know, we're not exactly in Shujin anymore. There's no need to be too formal, Sumire. 

Sumire: If I'm being honest, me not calling you Senpai wouldn't feel right. And besides, you have done alot for me. Not just me, but for others as well. 

Morgana: I guess some things never change. But let's be honest, you like it when she calls you that, right, Ren?

Ren: Well, I'm not against it. And I never will be. 

Sumire: I'm glad you agree, Senpai... Mind if I help you with the coffee?

Ren: Oh, Sumire, do you wish to know my knowledge when it comes to brewing coffee?

Morgana: You mean the Chief's Coffee, Ren. Jeez.

Sumire: Well, yes, I would love to know your knowledge. 

Morgana: *sigh* Oh well, I guess I should savor this moment as well. 

Morgana continues to eat his fatty tuna while Ren and Sumire finish cooking the curry and brewing some coffee. Both sat next each other as they ate as they exchanged some conversations that made each other laugh. After the curry, the three walk out of the house and head into town. It was a normal day as the three were back in the house. 

As night was falling, Morgana opted the two to get some rest, which Ren still couldn't get away from. However, Sumire found it amusing that Ren and Morgana would have a constant back and forth argument about going to sleep. Soon as she calmed down the argument, the three of them began to sleep. While Sumire was comfortably cuddling with Ren, he looked over at Sumire, smiling, as he was happy to see her happy too. 

As his eyes began to slowly drift to sleep, a blue light began to hover over his eyelids. The moment he wakes, he finds himself in a familiar place.
