Issei Hyoudou was your typical, overly-perverted highschooler who got real lucky in getting excepted in the former all-girl's school Kuoh Academy.

He had recently went through an ordeal where his girlfriend turned out to be not everything he thought she was.

That was the day he learned about the Supernatural world! The day he became a Pawn and Reincarnated Devil under one bright red haired Rias Gremory.

He was explained that his girlfriend and murderer was actually a Fallen Angel and that he wasn't the only underling she had.

He met her Peerage, her Evil Pieces, set up like a Chessboard:

The blonde haired prince of Kuoh, Yuuto Kiba as a Knight of Gremory

The white haired junior of Issei's that wears a black cat hairpin, Koneko as a Rook of Gremory

And the raven-haired beauty queen and master tea brewer, Akeno Himejima as the Queen of Rias Gremory.

With Rias acting as the King of the team.

Issei has to admit he has learned quite a bit the past few days, he isn't quite retaining the information as he should but he is learning it, Rias thinks it is a bit of a start at least.

Meanwhile, Akeno and Koneko are taking their time to warm up to him, Akeno is getting there but Issei can't seem to get Koneko to like him for some reason.

"Koneko," Rias said "why are you always so rude with Issei?"

"He's trying way too hard to be valiant knight in shining white armor, yet he stumbles and fails almost always, all because of what reason?"

"You're rude to him because he reminds you of your best friend?"

"I'm part of the reason he's even gone, I don't want someone else to ruin their life being close to me."

"Well then what about me, Kiba, or Akeno?"

"The only reason you're okay is because your brother and father saved you, me and Akeno are okay because we're your pieces now and Kiba, well he was always your piece we were protected but no one took his side."

"Koneko..... just give Issei a chance okay?" Riaz asked as Koneko kinda clicked her tongue and Rias understood, no one else ever made Koneko show her emotions like this except for him..... "besides, he's exiled, not dead we may get to see him again!" Rias tried to cheer her Rook up

Koneko then felt something in her brain flip on

"You mean it?"

"I do, my brother is working very hard on ending his exile soon, he even plans to reinstate him as a Gremory too, it's why I'm trying to find recruits."

"You mean, in case me and Akeno want to-"

"Go back to Lukas?" The raven-haired girl asked as she entered the conversation between King and Rook

"Yes, that was the idea, the whole idea came from Lukas himself."

"Who's Lukas?" Issei asked, arriving to the club room.

"I suppose we can't really hide it now, can we?"

A young man was walking along the sidewalk, it was his first time in Kuoh, so the wonderful little walk was to familiarize himself with the environment and it worked amazingly.

His features garnered some looks but he wasn't completely out of the ordinary.

He wore a white shirt with an unbuttoned black button up over it, he wore typical blue jeans, though they seemed to be woven together with materials that maximized comfort, he had on a top brand of black mid-tops, and to finish it all off, he had a silver cross necklace around his neck.
