Lukas patrolled the town at night, looking for Strays or whatever else bumps in the night to appear.

He brought Seele with him, who decided to become one of his Knights, so she can train herself to fight herself so she doesn't have to rely on her other, more violent, self.

"So, what do you call her?"

"Veliona, though she tells me she doesn't like being named at all, she says that if she ever goes away now I'll be sad."

"Yeah? She doesn't know you very well then, I think you'd be sad anyways."

"I would! We've been with each other for half a year now!"

"Yeah, I'd be sad if someone I'd gotten along with suddenly disappeared too."

Seele stopped walking for a second, Lukas took a second to notice and turned around to see her blue inlays and eyes, were now red.

"Stop trying to get all sentimental with this girl will ya?"

"Oh? You have something wrong with me being nice to Seele?"

"Yeah I do! Everyone in their right mind knows Fuschia and Silver killed each other during the Great War! Stop trying to be nice to someone you know you'll kill in the future!"

"Just because our past wielders have done so, doesn't mean we have to, Seele is a nice girl and I plan on keeping her safe, one of the best ways to do that is to make her feel comfortable while also showing her how to be strong in uncomfortable situations." Lukas explained to Veliona.

"You're unbelievable, just so you know, this girl has a cushion, if she takes too much damage on the battlefield, I come out, if I have to come out my scythe is coming after your head when all the enemies are dead."

"Good,"

Veliona then switches back to Seele who pouted and started stomping her foot as she yelled at Veliona

"I told you to ask before you took over my body! I heard all of that and now I'm super embarrassed!" She shouted as Lukas just kinda chuckled

"Lukas," a weak voice said, which made Lukas turn around and summon Joyeuse

"Help me Lukas," it begged again.

"Who's there?"

"Lukas, you have to help me!" The weak voice exclaimed as a hand popped out of the bush and grabbed Seele's leg, causing her to scream from the top of her lungs.

"Joyeuse: Cleave!"

"Waitaminutewaitaminutewaitaminute!" The hand shouted.

A woman then stood up from the bush and walked out, her jeans and white t-shirt covered in leaves and grass blades, which she wiped off, still leaving some dirt stains all over her shirt and face.

Lukas looked unamused by the woman as he sneakily grabbed Seele's hand and started to slowly back away from the woman while she was distracting herself to wipe off all the dirt.

The woman in question has long apple red hair and diamond blue eyes she looks about 25 human years at most.

"Hey! Stop backing up! Where's your manners gone?"

"Sorry, we have to get going somewhere."

"No you don't, you'd already be there if you did."

"She's correct too, she always knew me a little too well."

"Well uh, hi then Teach."

"WHAT WAS THAT!" she screamed "well uh, hi then teach?" She asked "I mean come on Lukey! You can do better than that! You're supposed to be jumping up and down with uncontainable glee!" She continued "Aoko! My dearest and most beautiful teacher in the whole wide universe! I missed you so much! Let me shower you with affection and attention! Let me show my gratitude and love for you!!!!"
